35. Is 'Hybrid Code' the Future of Building Apps?

James and Kieran kick off 2025 with an in-depth discussion about the evolving landscape of app development. Kieran shares updates on his latest projects - Typoro (a LinkedIn post optimizer) and an AI TikTok video generator - while exploring the nuances of AI prompt engineering. The conversation delves into the concept of "hybrid building," combining no-code platforms like Bubble with traditional databases like Supabase and AI-generated code. They discuss the potential of AI agents, self driving startups, and how to effectively balance visual development with code-based solutions.
