Welcome to ITS FOOTBALL DAY, a podcast where two lads give their unfiltered opinions on the game of football. We are back again with a jam packed episode full of football content. We have Premier League results, the provisional England Squad, the EFL league playoffs and the Champions League final preview! We start by discussing the results from the final day of the Premier League season including a teary Pep as he says goodbye to Aguero who breaks Rooney's record of most PL goals for one club. Liverpool and Chelsea secure the Champions League spots whilst Leicester and West Ham achieve Europa League football next season. We also look at the other stories around the PL, with Leeds winning a Premier League game in front of their fans for 16 years, Sheffield United bid goodbye to the PL with a win at home against Burnley and Newcastle somehow finished 12th as Willock scored for his 7th consecutive game equalling Shearer's record at the club. These results did in fact mean that Ryan won the Fantasy League but also pipped Louis to the Super 6 title this season against Louis, on the final day!Elsewhere, Lille won Ligue 1 but their players and manager are being torn from them, Inter won Serie A but Conte has left the club and Atletico Madrid won La Liga with Suarez being the main man after leaving Barca for only £5million.Southgate named a 33-man Provisional England squad for the Euros which will be chopped down to 26 on Tuesday 1st June, some notable call ups with Trent returning but there was definitely some shocks as Bamford, Maddison and Wan-Bissaka were all left out. Finally, we discuss the EFL playoff's as Brentford face Swansea on Saturday aiming to achieve PL football for the first time in their history. We review Man United's performance against Villareal as they failed to win the Europa League on penalties and we look ahead to the big one, the Champions League final! Chelsea v Man City and Louis is hellbent on winding a nervous Ryan up.Tune in and enjoy. Socials;TWITTER; https://www.instagram.com/itsfootballday_INSTAGRAM; https://www.instagram.com/itsfootballday_/FACEBOOK; https://www.facebook.com/ItsFootballDayXI/LINKTREE; https://linktr.ee/ItsFootballDay🎙 Music created by;Adam Ross.Instagram; https://www.instagram.com/adamshaunrossWebsite; http://adamshaunross.co.uk/Socials;TWITTER; https://www.instagram.com/itsfootballday_INSTAGRAM; https://www.instagram.com/itsfootballday_/FACEBOOK; https://www.facebook.com/ItsFootballDayXI/LINKTREE; https://linktr.ee/ItsFootballDayArtworkPhil HowellInstagram; https://www.instagram.com/everytimeishoot/🎙 Music created by;Adam Ross.Instagram; https://www.instagram.com/adamshaunrossWebsite; http://adamshaunross.co.uk/
