35 - Prized Pig

from Real Good Show

It's a week of equally outrageous snubs, as P.K. Subban is left off Team Canada's initial line-up for the World Cup and Real Good Show is overlooked as one of Vancouver's Best Podcasts. Meanwhile, the Canucks' inaction at the Trade Deadline leaves us further incensed and the NFL Combine yields some flashy results. PLUS: Yoenis Céspedes goes hog wild! And a painful combination of WWE and Subway has us dreaming of Ric Flair cutting sandwich-inspired heel promos. Support the show at www.patreon.com/RealGoodShow & BY DOWNLOADING THIS EPISODE! released by a different podcast, unfortunately. Justin Morris, that with you, of course, and with me, as always is. Stefan Hack, John Cullen, that was a very tenuous metaphor this week. Like it was good, but it was also like- Well, I just say literally what happened to the PlayStation.

Yeah, exactly, but it was a podcast. We have to be released by another podcast. Welcome to episode 35. Next week is episode 36, you're gonna be like, oh, this podcast is, it's got a high voice, and it's from Denmark.

Yeah, exactly. Shut up, I'm supposed to be in some- Thomas Trans loves it. I guess that's, okay, exactly. Welcome to episode- That would hold true.

I would, and I have kind of a, well, it's not high, it's weird, boys. Welcome to episode 35 of Guys We Fucked. I'm John Cullen. And that kind of ties in also, I guess.

If you believe the reasons why he was traded, or the rumored reasons that I'm actually- That's true, I guess. Yeah, yeah. This is Wake Up Cloud by Kessler. Yeah, I like this one.

Yeah, I like this one. Podcasts, yeah. Good episode of Guys We Fucked by episode 17. Yeah, yeah, exactly.

I don't know what episode 17 it gets. I don't even know. Is that what the cock was that episode? Right?

Yeah, we actually have to look it up, because that's pretty amazing if that was the case. I'm on the cock. Please tell me that was the case. No, I think what the cock was, actually no, I might have actually got the cock.

I'll probably beat Justin to it here. Well, we'll just add it to this part. Well, we don't have to. We can just roll it in.

Oh, episode 17 was Very OK Show, a historical science podcast inspiring women's voices. Very solo. Yeah, what the cock was 19. So we were very close.

Yeah, and of course, historical science podcast inspiring women's voices. That reminds me of old 17, definitely. Absolutely. He inspired a lot of women's voices.

Oh, I thought we were going to start shit talking that podcast. Like last episode, we were going to shit talk another podcast. We're going to shit talk another podcast. Another podcast.

Same thing. Yeah, pretty much. But because real good show did not win. Oh, yeah, that's right.

That's a podcast. Which I don't think we've even nominated. Yeah, I was going to say, the West End are treated you pretty well, John, during comedy fest, I think, because it wasn't about the paper that had your headliner on the front page. Yes, Todd Berry was on the front page of the West End.

But typically, the West End are the best of the city is a dumpster fire. And because they just take votes from people and you're allowed to stuff the ballot box. And it just is, let's just say, the person who's won the best comedian in Vancouver the last two years running is not someone that anyone with any sort of comic sensibility would think is the number one comedian. Congratulations on winning.

Ah, thank you. Thank you. It's nice. Yeah, we just had a Twitter campaign Stefan tweeted it out for me and the followers came through.

So I really appreciate that. Well, I want to win the best Twitter account, because there is a category for that. And I always forget to put out the call for that. Well, yeah, Tilly comes out.

I'm like, oh fuck, like, Miss 6041 again. Nobody reads like a blogger. Nobody reads the West Ender until after the awards have been published. Isn't the Georgia straight?

No, the Georgia straight has one too. But their voting system is a lot more airtight. Right. There's one where you have to vote a certain amount of cash.

You can't just. OK, that makes sense. Yeah. Well, that's coming up.

We should get in on that. Well, it's basically like if you looked at the West Ender and then you looked at the Georgia straight, just the physical paper, you can imagine basically the budgets of each paper and how much they're willing to spend on their best event Cooper issue and they go from there. But yeah, so obviously, I think on our show, we would have no qualms with the number one choice for best event Cooper podcast or just stop podcasting. Yeah, because we're always one of the ones that we didn't win.

It's like, well, we're in the same category and stop podcasting yourself. That's totally good. They should win for sure. We're not mad at that.

We suck. We don't really have anything to say about them either. It's not like we're going to listen to it. But you can see the appeal.

It would be like if someone created an actually good CFL podcast. I'm not going to listen to it. But good on you. Yeah.

I mean, no one's obviously done that yet. But if someone were to create a good NFL podcast. Oh, yeah. Sorry.

Well, yeah. What else is that? But we're different. We're the official podcast of the CFL.

So it's not a CFL podcast. So that's a very important distinction. But number three, coming in at number three, was this podcast that is a live recording of an abortion of a show which is called Geeks vs. Nerds West Coast.

I think I would actually prefer a live recording of an abortion. It would be something that I haven't heard before. Yeah, I don't even know what that's going to be like. Well, it's what's called Geeks vs.

Nerds. Geeks vs. Nerds. Just from the name alone, you kind of know what it is.

Every week they get together to debate game of thrones versus Lord of the Rings. Exactly. It's like actually describing as an abortion was incorrect because everybody that watches the show is a virgin. Well, an abortion is like an important part of our societal fabric.

Yeah. Absolutely. I'm 100% agree. I'm absolutely pro-choice.

Yeah. And that's what we're all about here. I guess Taylor for abortion. Yeah.

For Hitler's abortion. Yes. Especially. Yeah, absolutely.

It all comes full circle. But yes, it's basically a panel of comedians. And I use that term loosely because I've never heard of any of them. And I do 100 shows a year in the city.

So if I don't know who they are, comedian is a very loose term. Debating, yes. Like you say, Lord of the Rings versus Game of Thrones or Star Wars versus Star Trek. Well, Superman versus Captain America.

Well, it's like Epic Rap Battles, a history or whatever. It's like that sort of. But you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Because at least there's production value there. And they get celebrities. Yeah, exactly. This is like the opposite of celebrities.

Yeah. For sure. This is like people you would see at your local dollar store. I've taken one improv class.

Yes. And now I'm a comedian. And I like Batman. Yeah, exactly.

I have a Batman belt buckle. So I'm definitely qualified. No, they would have the Super Nintendo controller belt. Oh, yeah.

Or the scrolling LED belt buckle. Oh, yeah. Then it says Batman. Yeah.

I wanted to get one of those when I was in grade 11. But I couldn't figure out how to switch belt buckles. I don't know how to do it. I guess.

Yeah. I don't need a belt. I don't need a belt. Too scrawny to require.

Yeah, I don't really need a belt. I can use a leather wristwatch strap. Or just rope, basically. Yeah.

A piece of twine. Yeah, exactly. Well, anyone can use that if it's long enough. But that doesn't mean that's true.

Yeah. In any case, just me, a thin piece of twine would have the tensile strength. It's a whole lot of your pants. Yeah.

Yeah, for sure. I don't know what I agree. Anyway, it's carrying on to him. No, it's fine.

I just wanted to say that I didn't even know that was a podcast. The production, you can't find it. Like, it's not an iTunes. If you go to iTunes right now and search it, it doesn't exist.

And yet, it's somehow the number three podcast in this city. No. So basically, we're just declaring war on this piece of garbage podcast and anyone who goes to also their live shows. And this is in no way related to the fact that my ex-girlfriend also sometimes participates in panels of these shows.

In no way is it related to that. It's strictly based on business. It's all business. It's based on their merits of their art, which are incredibly low.

And if you do go to one of their live shows and they do ask for an audience suggestion, which improv show? No, it's no date. They have the battles decided beforehand, because the people on the panel dress up as whatever it is. You should have led with that, because that's probably the worst part.

It's like the Joker versus Captain John Luke Picard. Right, exactly. I have so much of people involved caps versus a bunch of people in weird face makeup. And the purple suit.

And you know, Patrick Stewart has spoken so much about how. It takes him so long to get out of the character of John Luke Picard, because it takes him to such a dark place mentally. Especially when it's like Borg Picard, he really has a hard time mentally disconnecting from the character afterwards. It's almost killed him a few times, really.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Because they're talking about the way people talk about the Joker. Oh, OK. Except with Picard.

No, that's even. OK. No, yeah, I got it though. No, I got it now.

I got it now. I do like that. I was very good. I was just like, I thought it was like a specific Patrick Stewart thing.

No, this is my audition reel to get onto that podcast. OK. You did great. The Joker's honestly is way over the head of everyone.

They'd be like, what? You'd just be like, I like the Joker's suit and stuff. And like Heath Ledger's pretty. Do they rap though?

No, that's just speaking. I don't know if that's better or worse. It's like a debate. Yeah, I mean, that's bad.

But you should go for us for the Georgia straight one. Yeah, whenever that is, because I just googled it and there's nothing about the 2016 edition. Well, yeah, we'd be more than happy to come to second place to stop podcasting ourselves. So make it happen.

And if they announce the top three, do they? Yeah, they do. Right. That's the top three also.

As long as you beat Geeks versus nerds. Yeah, or nerds versus Geeks. Well, they're nerds and geeks won't be too hard to beat them. Am I right, boys?

Well, I weigh like 135. Yeah, no, me and Justin only. You might actually, you'll probably be like the mole. No, I'll be able to infiltrate the other side.

So be wearing a liar. Yeah, John and I are going to be wearing a liar as a belt. We're going to be in a van parked across the street. Just like listening to everything and feeding you lines.

Be it say that Picard is such a dark role that takes him to a mental place he's uncomfortable with. I like it. Yeah, we should actually, like I honestly think if we tried, we could get on to one of the live shows. Like easily.

Just be like, oh, yeah, I'm a comedian, local podcast. So would we do like sabotage it or? I don't know. I mean, are you like trying to be good?

I used to do improv 10 years ago. I think qualifies me to do this. It 100% absolutely does. Have you done improv more than twice?

Yeah. I'm a Canadian National Gold Medalist in the CIG, baby. I was in a high school production. If you can't take it with you.

OK. Yeah. Good. The dad, I forget what his name is.

All right. It makes fireworks in the basement. It's a great play. It's all about family.

And the fireworks in the basement part of the show or was that part of the character? No, that's like an actual. No, that was the secret that your character had that only you knew. No, they legit, there's several scenes where the fireworks explode in the cops come.

Thanks. Yeah. It's a good play. Well, what was the secret that only you knew?

No, it was like seven years ago. About fireworks that. Am I missing something else? No, I don't know.

I guess you. This is the episode or just the opposite of the joke explaining. We're like just saying we're trying to figure out why stuff. But the thing is, when I got it got it, I was like, oh, that's really good.

Like doing the reverse. Yeah, it was really good. But we didn't get it at the time. I was trying to set it up.

I knew you were being sarcastic, but I couldn't tell in what way. Am I just missing something? I've given you the opportunity to come up with a secret that your character would have. I was trying to let you make a joke.

Oh, you jacked off onto fireworks. OK, there you go. That's your secret. Well, you said that earlier.

But you didn't understand what it was. No, I had it in my head the whole time. I should say it. I'll be allowed to say jacking off.

Of course you are. OK. Jacking off. That's pretty much what we do every week verbally.

Jacking off verbally. OK, so we're all qualified. Justin was an improper 10 years ago. You were in a high school production, and I'm a professional.

I was in the outside as well. Oh, there you go. I played Child Escaping Burning Church, number two. Nice.

There was two child's, two children. Not two burning churches. So it was two famous chefs. It was two giants.

Yes. Thank you. Is that a movie? Well, yeah, Julia and Julia.

But Julie wasn't a child. No, she was a child. But I don't know what Julie's even what her deal is. Yeah, she's a flocked out.

You know what? Did a blog. You know what we haven't done in a long time? I am DB right now.

Here we go. The IMDB message board for Julia and Julia. Justin definitely posted on that. Yeah, you 100% posted on this.

Like two weeks ago, he's like, fuck, are you guys kidding me? Like, don't go to this board right now. Or what? The top comment is me being like, why can't my blog get adapted to a feature film starring male, screepe?

Fuck. What the Christ was it called? Julia and Julia. And Julia and Julia.

And Julia and Julia. I got it. Here we go. OK.

Jules. Oh, it's so it's about blogger Julie Powell. OK, Julia Child's story of her start in the cooking profession is intertwined with blogger Julie Powell's 2002 challenge to cook all the recipes in Child's first book. This sounds like I would cut my own face off.

Our friend Jesse Ferrar is doing a similar sort of thing, where he's going through the recipes of the joy of cooking. Oh, OK. That would be a much more enjoyable film. OK, good.

Oh, wow. This is a oh, wow. This is such an unbelievable Lee Long review. I don't like that.

We got to get out of here. OK, here we go. This is good danger. Oh, this is great.

OK. This this is from user La La Land posted December 4th, 2010. So well over 365 days after the movies come out. Came out in 2009.

The title is French. Drove me crazy. Can't believe how bad some of the main characters French pronunciation was. Exclamation point.

The way they say buff, as in buff, Borgignon, like, boof. So wrong, all capitals. Made my ears hurt. There is no way anyone would live in France for so long and still say it like that.

Now, up until this point, you're thinking this woman is on the side of France, or I'm assuming it's a woman that's supposed to be this. Could be Justin. But they seem like really on the side of France. But then they just a complete U-turn.

Made my ears hurt. There is no way anyone would live in France for so long and still say it like that. Frenchies would have been correcting her all over the place. So she just had like a bad experience with French people.

Yeah, exactly. People don't repeat this mistake. It is horrible sounding. Five stars.

Well, speaking of reviews. Oh, sorry. Even better comments. So 2011, so this is about a month later.

Someone responds to this by saying, yeah, Julie butchered the pronunciation. But I don't think Julia ever said the word in the film. It was another thing to add in the why Julie Powell irritates me list. What fucking language are you speaking?

That's from OK. I want to read that list. Three years later in January 2014, JCBNYC posts. That's me.

Posts. But it wasn't Julie. It was Amy Adams. Fair point.

I find distinction until he clarified. I thought that that was Julie Powell playing all of those. Exactly. I hope a lot of land got a notification like four years later.

Yeah, they absolutely got a notification four years later. But it wasn't Julie. It was Amy Adams. It was actually more than four years after the original post.

I love Julie Powell in the Man of Steel. Do you guys see your cameo in the office? Or at least the office? What when she had Jacked off Philip Seymour Hoffman in the master?

Oh, yeah, that's going to do. I haven't seen that. I just want to say Jack off. I've been meaning to.

It's on my list. I don't know. Describe the best part to you. Yeah, I guess so.

PT Anderson movies are so good but also kind of a slog at the same time. You know what I mean? Like I know that it's going to say something deep and meaningful to me if I watch it but it's also going to be very long and depressing. Yeah, you get to see Philip Seymour Hoffman get jerked off.

OK, here's a question about the word deep and jacking off. Today I was speaking with a person at the word at place of employ. I prefer not to say it wasn't adult though. I should be clear.

Yes, it wasn't my place of employ that was an adult and she used the phrase deep impact for like a man coming inside a woman. Have you ever heard that slang term? No, I usually hear Armageddon. Armageddon?

Yes. Yes. Oh, I was going to make a joke. I'm so glad you did.

I got that one. Hey, no, but have you heard that before though? Honestly, I've never heard that. She was like, yeah, like deep.

I can't even remember how it came up when like finishing inside of a. Yeah, like finishing inside of a woman would just like deep. Well, I guess. Yeah, yeah.

We're not discriminatory here on Real2Show. I've never heard that before. So listeners, if you've heard that as a slang term before because I was very confused. Urban Speaking of reviews.

Here we go. Wow. A second segue. What a great segue.

Well, I tried earlier and just wouldn't let me do it. Well, it's a sports bike. Yes, absolutely. I think it was important to like 25 minutes.

It was important to revisit the IMDB message for you. Yeah, keep our continuity alive, definitely. But there's a few ways that people can help the program. Yes.

One of them is by telling people about it. Yes. Whether that's having a real life conversation. I just ask someone if they've ever heard the term deep impact.

But they're like, oh, I heard it on this dope on the story tweeting about it or what have you. You can also go on to the iTunes store and subscribe and rate and review the program on iTunes. I like to check in on those every week and a second that we call review review. Excuse me.

You can edit that out. No. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up. Hi, sir.

This is awesome. You wish episode ever. Yeah, no, I just want to say I'm drinking Hopping Mad Sider. That's all mine.

That's all mine. That's all mine. Yeah, that's all mine. Also, I'd like to clarify because I have several jobs.

The place of employee that we're talking about is comedy. Oh, not school. Not school. We don't have those conversations at school.

Regardless. I was talking about the theme song I was playing and I was like, oh, people are going to think that I was talking about that at my other place. In the staff room? Well, you never know what people talk about in the staff room.

Mostly just shitting on the kids, usually is what we talk about, just how bad some of the kids are. Oh, like making fun of them. Yeah, it's exactly what you think. When you went to high school, you thought, oh, I bet the teachers all talk about us in the staff lounge.

And then if you said that to a teacher, they'd be like, well, what? You think we'd talk about you? We have to see you every day. Yeah, no.

Which is that's a great line by the way. It's a kid's like, oh, it's a good point. Good point. We're virtualizing with our friends at work.

You really think we're in the staff room talking about you, Mark? Yeah, because when I hang out with my coworkers and staff, we complain about work. So why would it be different for a teacher? Exactly it's not.

Yeah. It's a student. I guess the students are customers. Yeah.

The customers of the mind. We'll get back to review review. You should put the theme song again, because I totally don't have to. No, no, please don't.

We're already 87 minutes out of time. I could be funny if you played like a snippet of it and then we were just like, no. The best part is that this might be one of the busiest sports weeks. Let's just pick up on that.

Okay, let's see something. Yeah. It was a good bit though. episode is gonna be four hours to start ten commandments.

This week's review comes to us from LazyBone87, and it is titled Not Bad. It's pretty okay if I had to review it. It can be funny and interesting at times, and it's fairly good actually. The great segments that are finally are with Taffer, and the Twitter segments are excellent.

I can honestly say it's the best podcast in the world. Just excellent. Ten out of ten. Bronze Hammer is good.

Five stars. Great review. It seems like they went through an existential crisis halfway through writing that review. Yeah, and I just want to give a shout out to the writer again, LazyBone87.

I feel like they put a lot of thought into how funny that would be to be read on the show. Yeah, absolutely. In terms of just escalating positivity from it's a bad show to it's the greatest show. The two ways to get on the show on review review, right a funny review like that, or shit talk one of us specifically.

And it'll make a new segment about you. Not that I'm mad at anything. No, but you have to stand up for your stuff. Yeah, absolutely.

Very important. You definitely do. There's other ways that people can help the program of course beyond just doing that. Give us money.

You can head on over to our Patreon page, patreon.com.com. Real good show and kick us a few bucks if you enjoy the program and want it to keep happening. Keep the lights on. All that good stuff.

And our donor this week is Tyler Walker, who actually did not donate through Patreon. He just sent us a money transfer to our email at RealGoodPod at G. Beautiful. He's not the first person to do that.

And hopefully not the last. Exactly. If you don't believe in those crowdfunding websites who take a little bit of a percentage up the top and want all of the funds to go towards your boys over here. Real good pod at G.

Absolutely. Don't go bank transfers. Don't go bank statements. That's like arguably worse.

Dollar 50. Anyway, give us money. We're not going to have money. And if you'd like to send money and or anthrax, Justin's website, mailing address is available on our website.

And I also got some criticism this week that our website is a little bit too Justin centric. It used to be my own professional webpage that I just changed into being the show page. And I've been talking about it was too Justin centric. Because like my demo reel and stuff.

Yeah, but that's because it was the old website. I'm just fully finished. Oh, I see. I also think we need to start doing a professional photo shoot at some point.

Yeah. Straight up. Why not? You're sick of people picking on you for the RealGoodShow cover photo.

Well, I showed Jesse makes fun of me for it all the time. And he was like, so there's another picture of me on Facebook and I looked like nice. And so he's like, yeah. The professional photo.

Well, there's that one. There's another one. I'm wearing a suit instead. Oh, yeah.

Yeah. I see that photo. I do. I do see that many times.

I was there when you were doing this. You were. Yes. I complimented how sharply dressed you were.

Thank you once again. But Jesse said, yeah, no, I'm like, I'm like, you know, there's like big American dolls or whatever. Yes. Okay.

Just take them off of like, the picture. Look what's done. Perfect. Anyway, where was I going with this?

Oh, yeah. What Jesse said about me? Yeah. So Jesse sees the first boat.

He's like, I understand how you can look like the kid from a blank check in one photo and then like a James Bond villain in the next photo. So like Jack Ray. Actually, I would have gone more than Dennis and then us. I look like McCulloch and his child.

If I was doing something different, yeah. No, no, but I mean, but yes, but you do like a call. If I had to pick which bond villain also, it would probably be Matthew and Mallorych in Quantum of Solace. Say, all jokes.

I'm short. Well, he's a mallorych is very tall. I was going to pick Jaws because it's comical because he's so big. I'll do the home alone face for you guys right now.

Yeah. Yeah. That's really good. You should never put both of your hands over your cheeks.

No, I'm never surprised by anything. Yeah. That's why you're so low key because you're like, if I get surprised, I look too much like the call is broken. I've got to change this.

Yeah. Everybody takes photos of me right at that. What are we talking about? I don't know, but it should probably be sports at this point.

I guess in theory. We want people to give us money. Do we talk about all this stuff? Yeah, leave a review.

Also download the episode. Yes. Well, yeah. We've got a big bump back after that.

So please download the episodes and just streaming them through the podcast app. I believe we can begin talking about sports. This is ostensibly a sport. Half an hour into the program at this point.

We could call this the ostensible sports podcast. That would be a good alternative name. Yeah. Yeah, that could be our next.

Real good shows a bit catchy here, but yeah. That's sort of America's best worst and all that. Oh, no. I guess it could be like another subtitle.

But if we were going to change the actual name of the podcast, I mean, it's supposed to be a sports podcast. Oh, SP. I like that also. But we could also go, yeah, real good show ostensibly about sports.

Yeah. That's a good t-shirt idea actually. Also, by the way, did you add that as a Patreon offer that like, if you donate to our Patreon, then you will give you a name of a nationality that's not your own. Oh, no, I didn't.

But we should. I didn't do that for Tyler Walker, but I would just like to thank Tyler Walker or as he's known in Sweden, Johann Larson. Pretty accurate. Thank you.

We should make some sort of like generator online for that. Yeah. I'm sure there is one. We're just like, oh, got my phone.

I was going to text message and I'll just have to do it live. Yeah. I mean, I don't want to do like a bod or whatever. Yeah, it'd be good.

Anyways, sports. Yeah. I mean, I'll trade that line with this week. Oh, yeah, it was boring.

Nothing happened. Yeah, nothing did happen. You guys want to yell about your team more. It's been years and years of suffering.

Okay. At least three. No, what? Technically, it's been like 45.

Okay. Even if you go back to 2012, technically did they win the President's trophy during that season? Yes, they did. Were they also unwatchable garbage as a hockey team?

Absolutely. Yes, they were. Okay. But that doesn't matter because you know, you guys always say no one on the thing can complain if they want to Stanley Cup.

Yeah, you guys lost in 2011, but you were pretty damn, you're probably the best team in the league in 2011. Yeah. So like, I mean, come on. Over the best team in the modern era period.

Yeah, that's right. Yeah, let's get those. That's not what we have. That's a number one in basically every single statistic category.

Pretty close, I believe. I could be wrong. I would. Yeah.

Are we talking about teams that lost in the finals? Or just like overall the best teams period? Detroit was pretty pretty rare to see a team dominate every single. Oh, no.

Austin was pretty good that year because they beat you. But they beat a shell of the Canucks. Okay. I don't want to get into this because I'm, but yeah, all I'm saying is you haven't really earned it.

You've had a bad year. Yes. But like, I mean, I think we have earned it in my argument here is that literally any argument about the Canucks can be shut down by saying, oh, if you want to cup it like legitimately. Oh, yeah.

And even even even even me just saying that they were the best team of the modern era. You're like, well, Boston beat them. Yeah, no, I know that. I'm not like you can complain, but also like, like I would.

It's been like five episodes in a row. We get at your team. Like it though. Yeah.

I like spans like it. There's other people also that are like baseball fans who listen to fans and who appreciate us like being so specific with our rights because there's something universal about our specificity about like a shitty team. There's something universal about our specific. The more specific we get the more universal the feelings of self-loathing.

Sounds like a yoga bear up quote. I felt Justin's law. Yeah. Exactly.

I talked about this on the show before. So maybe I'm not saying all I'm saying is, Stefan, you have a right to complain because you have season tickets. So anyone that is that is putting money into the team you've bought your right to complain. Yeah.

But I just feel like, okay, like I'm not saying I get it. Like your team is pathetic and horrible and they're awful to watch live and they're horribly mismanaged. I get all of that. But like, I mean, yeah, the trade deadline, like, are you even surprised?

Yes. I knew it was going to, I was expecting the word. I need to be like upset with the returns. The guys were going to shift out for, you know, shitty returns basically.

Or I was also prepared for him to go out and acquire somebody that made me very mad. But Marcus Granlin basically also was that. Yeah. He kind of did that.

But, you know, I was not prepared for them to go into the deadline as sellers and fail to move a single person. They didn't make, I mean, they, they lost Adam Cracknell to waivers. I do just want to say one thing about being a fan of a team that's never won anything. I would legitimately trade.

I'm serious here. The next 20 years of missing the playoffs for the Canucks to have won a Stanley Cup before I was born. Okay. Yeah.

That's a lot. Yeah. That's basically my, that's basically my fandom. The Leafs have won the, the playoffs won the playoffs for the last 16 years.

Yeah. I would legitimately take that for the, for the Canucks to have won a cup in like 1981. Or if they'd won an 82, let's say. Yeah.

I would, I would have taken that. Yeah. No, for sure. A color photo of a kind of holding a Stanley Cup.

You fucking kidding me? I'll never experience that because I almost likely never experienced that anyway. So I may as well have had that in the past before I was born. So I can look back.

You know what I mean? Yeah. Like that's how pathetic it is being a Canucks man. Yeah.

So I was like, one of my favorites may be mad because this is not even a week after you've traded a fifth around picked to Edmonton for Philip Larson where you probably just could have traded to Adam Craignell for Larson. What? Who picked him up? I didn't even see that was okay.

I knew he got picked up but I didn't know who it was by. Yeah but the team, first in waiver priority. Right. You think he'll be good with McDavid Cracknell?

Yeah. Probably. I mean he's been a scoring phenom. Well the games, yeah.

Yeah. You better not go to the game. I'm going to an Edmonton game in March, we'll see. Cracknell probably lights it up.
