He now serves as an adjunct faculty at Cleveland teaching a course specifically dedicated to assessment and management of emergencies in the private practice setting. Over the last 10 years Dr. Vawter has been a Paramedic in the Kansas City area working in both the field, and in the Emergency Medical Sciences program at Johnson County Community College. He teaches EMR, EMT, Cardiology and Paramedic content both in didactic settings and also in the clinical settings working with students in a variety of hospital rolls throughout the city.
