Dr. Scotty's Biography Dr. Scotty Butcher is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan with research focusing on strength training and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) using traditional and multimodal methodology in a variety of clinical and healthy populations.  He is the Co-Founder and co-owner of Strength Rebels providing health and fitness professionals educational seminars, courses, and resources for strength and HIIT training methodology. Dr. Butcher obtained his B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1998 and in 2001 he earned his Master's of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science both from the University of Saskatchewan. He went on to get his PhD in Pulmonary Medicine and Exercise Physiology from the University of Alberta in 2007.
