Did you know that studies actually show that it's a woman's confidence that makes her most attractive? A confident girl is someone who is not afraid of being herself and feels comfortable in her own skin. She radiates from within, which allows her to focus her attention on others to help others feel more comfortable in their own skin too. The world needs more confident girls, don't you think?On today's episode, Jess and Cody have special guest joining in on this conversation. Blakely is a fashion, lifestyle and beauty blogger. She loves fashion and looking her best, but she has become very aware of how much more important it is to be a voice and advocate that promotes confidence, beauty and body positivity from within. She sees that the focus, especially on social media, is all about image. That's what we do on social media, we look at tiny images, so it's focus can be more about what we see. Blakely wants to help shift that focus, to focus more on positive attributes and contributions. As a mother of two daughters, she tries to be extra aware of the language she uses about bodies and beauty around them. She recognized that her mother set an amazing example for her, which helped mold her into a confident women. She shares the tips we all can use to also have this same influence on our daughters, and also on how we can discover our own inner beauty confidence. Did you learn something new today?
