But the truth behind the brand is that it has its roots in a strange early 20th-century cult, involving everything from Jesus, Aliens, and Corn Flakes. The cult is named Urantia, and it has come under fire recently for having some extremely controversial takes on race and the foundations of humanity that followers might still believe to this day.
