After graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education, she spent more than a decade as a freelance baker and cake decorator before returning to school to focus on media. She earned her master’s degree in food studies from New York University and began her writing career with Pastry Arts Magazine. She is a cofounder, an editor, and a recipe developer for Pastry at Home, as well as a freelance writer for other food media outlets as well.
