36.1 The True Vine
from LastGen Magazine Hosted by LastGen Magazine
Are you tired of trying to be "better" through your own willpower? In this video, we explore one of Jesus' most powerful illustrations: the Parable of the Vine and the Branches. On His way to Gethsemane, Jesus used a flourishing grapevine to show His disciples the only way to live a fruitful life.Based on the writings of Ellen G. White, we break down what it actually means to "abide" in Christ: The Living Connection: Just as a branch grows into a vine "fiber by fiber," we connect our weakness to Christ’s strength through faith. Constant Communication: Learn why spiritual life isn't a one-time event but a "constant receiving of His Spirit" and a life of surrender. Effortless Fruit-Bearing: Discover why Jesus doesn't tell us to "labor" to bear fruit, but simply to abide in Him. Separated from the vine, a branch cannot live—and apart from Christ, we cannot overcome even one temptation. Join us to see how living in Christ produces a character that reflects His own holiness and compassion.
