36 | Do you prioritise short term pleasures over investing in your professional Development?

How much is your future worth to you? What are you prepared to invest into building a career that will bring you both job and fulfillment as a healthcare professional? In today's episode, I address the issue of people's reluctance to invest in preparing themselves for a job or career they will love. Typically, people don't think twice about spending money on all sorts of self-indulgences, but find it hard to actually make an investment into their career development that will pay dividends for the long term. Many stay stuck in jobs they hate, while avoiding solutions that will help them get out of the work contexts that drain the life out of them. Invest in your professional development- because you are worth it.. and because your future self will thank you for it!   Eager for More?
