36. Jesus, the Light of the World

Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.Through Christ, the light of truth breaks into the spiritual darkness caused by sin. As the Spirit of God draws people to Christ, they are transformed—no longer lost in darkness but brought into the light of eternal life.John 9:5 adds, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Even today, His light continues to shine through us as His followers.
