高圓寺（Koenji / 高円寺)位於東京都杉並區，搭乘JR中央線從新宿站出發，只需15分鐘，就能來到街區氣氛與新宿迥異的高圓寺：這裡的商店街店家密集，卻大多是中小型自營商店，而且當中有為數驚人的各類風格特色小店。每年八月末，由高圓商店街發起，迄今已60年的阿波舞（awaodori)慶典，已成為東京最大的慶典之一。這個源自古時稱為阿波國（今約為德島縣範圍）的民俗舞，強調團隊風采，以連為單位，每連的服着各具特色，在街道上邊行進邊舞動，隨隊數種傳統樂器敲擊出持續的二拍子節奏，配合男女老少舞者們活力滿滿的呼喝聲和風格化的手腳動作，再加上從白天就陸續來到街邊人行道兩側舖坐墊佔位子的觀賞民眾，在入夜的商店街上，將高圓寺街區的夏日氛圍推昇至最高。地點：日本東京高圓寺街區 Powered by Firstory Hosting
