Lebanon’s Deep Crisis Explained w/ Timour Azhari (E36)

This is my second conversation with Timour Azhari, a Beirut-based Lebanese journalist with Al Jazeera.I wanted to talk to Timour because few people are able to explain what’s happening in Lebanon with such clarity. We went through the economic crisis and its political roots, the local and regional dimensions and how protesters and activists have  been reacting. We also spoke about how the average resident of Lebanon, both Lebanese and non-Lebanese (Ethiopian, Sudanese, Syrian etc), has been affected and what we could realistically expect to happen in the  coming weeks and months.The first episode was called: Lebanon’s October Uprising, Six Months Later (episode 8).
