36. Love vs Attachment

"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." - Rumi Attachment is a disease that we mistakenly label as love. Attachment only gives you the illusion of being in love. It's not love. Attachment is a huge barrier in discovering love. We have our insecurities and fears. But these insecurities & fears are the symptoms of what really is wrong with us. To suppress the insecurities and fears, we seek attachments to living and non-living things.
