So, Turbo Sports Radio issue number 36 mate. 36, like 30s. Oh yeah, well it is like 30s now isn't it? After 35 you think, oh you know, Prime Age and then 36 comes around and you're like, fuck yeah, I'm throwing up.
I'm throwing up. Yeah, so what's the topic mate, what's the topic today? Today is a Skater XL Breakdown. Nice, play the theme tune.
Alright mate, so, skate your X-air. We're pretty excited about this, right? Well you're probably more excited than I am, I haven't even fucking played the game, but it's making a rounds, you know, it's making a rounds this game. It is really making the rounds this.
I've seen Nine Club have touched on it, like Transworld are talking about it, I was excited for it. This one's a big deal, it's a big deal, more so than session was. Yes, yeah, I mean, I didn't even know, they got Evan Smith on the cover, I mean that's awesome isn't it, right? That is awesome, I've got the pick and score.
If you're picking skaters right, he's got to be, you know, he's got to be near the top of this generation's skateboarder. You know, if you go back to the first skate games or Tony Hawk franchise game, you've got the legend set in there. Obviously this isn't like a name, skate again, but to have Evan Smith as the cover, cover guys, that's big. Yeah, that's a big move.
That's a real big move. I mean, how many people can say that on the cover of a video game, other than Tony Hawk? Because even the skate games were covered. They didn't give it to anyone.
No. Yeah, so yeah, well done to Evan. I love it, we've got Jenny and Tony, I just love it, I just love it. Yeah, a little slow for the Bud Light.
You've got like nice, nice, nice. You can go to Carves Down, right? Yeah, it was off on these days. It was off on offer.
It was me struggling with ketogenic diets, like I can't have more than one beer or whatever, John has just, if he's on offer, I love it. Fair enough. Yeah, in Chromebook, so I'm sort of out. So cheers for that.
If you're listening, and we'll keep you going up with your listening, Mr. Cronenberg, just sort of out, eight pack. I'll break the ketogenic diet for ya. No, I'll get that done.
That's a big deal. Yeah, that'd be breaking news, that would be, that'd be breaking news. I mean, hold a lockdown pretty much doing that. So yeah, that'd be a big deal.
But anyway, yeah, back to Evan. Nice, is it switch flip as well? Switch flip over something on the right? Like a, yeah, bump the hydrogen.
Nice. It might be like a, that's nice, Nolly Batch, I think I wrote it. You should be kind of shifting. I don't know, I think that's a switch flip, mate.
All right, okay. Well, okay, well, if, right and let us know. What is it? What it is, and then, we'll try, maybe we'll try and ask Evan Smith, or, I'm sure people can ask, he'll probably ask the Instagram of skate.
Yeah, exactly what it is. Sure, Evan Smith would like to know, wouldn't he? But I'm sure, I'm putting my money on the switch flip. So what you saying is?
I reckon like, what's fancy? Is he regular? Oh shit, I think he's goofy, yeah. I might have just.
Or that's a deeper space. Yeah, I got it. Yeah, he's definitely in a goofy stance. Right.
I'm just thinking of his first line in the element piece video, where he's going down that hill when he kind of hits that massive wall ride. I'm sure he's goofy from that. Oh, I don't know. I don't think he is.
I think he's, oh, did he say he's goofy? I think he, I think he's goofy. I think he is goofy. I should know this as well.
Yeah, I should know this. Let's, uh, yeah, he's goofy. Oh, so yeah, I think it's like a, he's just going to kick out. He's kind of a kick flip.
I only got a picture in front of me. I'm talking about what I'm talking about. But I thought it switched a straight away. I mean, it could be like a real steezed out kick flip to be fair.
Yeah, I don't be fair. Or like a front flip perhaps. That's not a front flip mate. That's not a front flip.
Nah, it's not a front flip. Not even a front flip though. Yeah, yeah. True, but I'm, I think just flat kick flip now.
I'm sticking to my guns. I've moved my guns a little bit. Nah, I'm sticking to them. Well, I'll play to you.
Yeah. So what, yeah, so you've got, you've got, break me down when you, did you receive the game through like, from Amazon or you're going, you're going, buying a game somewhere mate from like Tesco these days or else in no game shops. I'm taking, taking, taking free experience. Yeah.
I'll get the game. Well, it was really easy. I just went on Amazon and pre-ordered it from there. And it showed up the day of release.
Did you know when you opened a package, it was going to be that game? Yeah. We were a little bit scared. It was going to be the wrong.
What did you get it for? Beautiful. We were a little bit scared that you were going to open up and it was going to say Xbox on the, on the cover of it. And they're in the cellophane wrap.
You open it up and you open the case. And with the switch, for some reason, I've had two or three cards, right? Little SD card, two or three times. The game's not in the case.
No. Fucking hell. Like, living. You kick off.
Yeah. Big jump. Yeah. Yeah.
Amazon. But I was, so, I was a little bit scared. I was going to open it up and there wasn't a disc in there. It's just that would have been horrible.
That would have been terrible. But luckily it was in there. So it was, so. And then how long did it takes to load up and everything?
So obviously when you stick games in these days, you can't just blow them, stick them in and play. You've got to install everything. Yeah. I'll install an update.
Probably talk about 40 minutes. What are you doing that time? I'm counting on something. What did you do?
Watching episodes of Simpsons. Which I was at. The one with Tony Hawk. I was at 300.
No. How did you do that? Because that was kind of the, that was the area of the Simpsons when it started to die. When they rely on celebrities to kind of come in.
So I always remember watching it around my mates house and seeing Tony Hawk on it was like, for some reason I don't like it. I didn't like the fact Tony Hawk. You know, it should have done. Yeah.
I don't think I got that far. I was like, yeah, like they're just, yeah, once you kind of just rely on celebrities to make an appearance every single week, which you probably don't do, but that's when I kind of stopped watching it. But I've been BBC two watching mate back in the day. BBC two.
I was two mate. No BBC two son, but when I think Star Trek was on afterwards or something like that. Wow. And with Captain Picard, you know, Patrick Stewart.
Yeah. Patrick Stewart and I'm sure it's on afterwards. So you get in and maybe some you might have had Judo practice or something like that. You come home and then fucking Star Trek was on and you'll be gutted because you knew you missed you miss a Simpsons.
That was like, no, no, no, no, it was on the advert. It was on the advert, it's not gonna be a BBC Sting or something. Yeah. And you think, all right, right, so it's gonna fall into something now and then fucking Star Trek, then he comes on and you're gutted because Simpsons don't know.
You want to see some jams? But you want to see, yeah, when you're 11, you want to watch Simpsons, not Star Trek. Yeah, exactly. I mean, I've never really been the biggest Star Trek fan to be fair.
So, I mean, the new films are pretty good. I can't knock them, and I'll Shatner, can't knock, Shatner. But Patrick's show, it's era, I think I was the wrong age for it. So, it might have been really good, but for me, Simpsons.
Fair enough. Anyway, so yeah, you load it, you load it, you load it up. Yeah, you watch an episode of Simpsons, and then you're in. So, loading times, you come straight into it, is it pretty responsive, or are you in a story mode?
Did I have a nice intro? Break a break, break down, I mean. So, there's no story mode, pretty quick loading though. So, I was in it, it gave me a really quick sort of tutorial.
So, it's kind of like session, so you got the left foot, right foot deal. Yeah. So, it got me to do an Ollie, couple of kick clips, a couple of shots. Can you skip that or not?
I don't think you could, no. You should be able to skip it, not just by pressing X, because you could screw yourself over, couldn't you? First, but maybe if you have to, you press all the top buttons, press the whole triangle down, and it would skip it. Yeah, you would press it, and all the triggers.
All four, yeah. Yeah, then it would skip it, so you can't make a mistake. Okay. But I think you should have the ability to skip that sort of stuff, because sometimes I tutorial will take way too long.
But anyway, this game probably needs it. Well, it needs more of a tutorial actually. Oh, really? It needs a mandatory, you need a certificate after that.
So, it tells you how to Ollie and kick clip and shove it. And that's about it. And then you're just putting in this high school, and the soundtrack starts playing. The soundtrack is pretty good.
There's only about eight songs. So after... Can you do what you should do? Yeah, it was on Skate, wasn't it?
Where you could, on your PlayStation, if you had music on there, you could stop the music from the game and play the music from your PlayStation. I'm talking about it. You can do that. I can do that.
I had eight songs, I've got to get pretty old pretty quick. Yeah, you can probably play Spotify over the top of it, because Spotify is on the PlayStation. I don't know. Yeah, try that for the next issue, let's know.
Right, and also someone else just writes in, let's just know. Someone's got to know out there. Yeah, someone must have got bored of those eight songs already. Yeah, but then you're learning how to do a heel flip, a really sketchy heel flip, then you probably want to get some more tunes in there.
Yeah, and Rose fucking sick of them as well. Those eight songs. It's on the TV. So it's not like session on one of the laptops around the corner.
It's on the TV. On the TV. Yeah. But you can't even first get a game, you've got to put it in the big TV.
It's one of those things. It's like a Christmas if you get something, it's going on. It's like fucking mum. Yeah, you've got a new DVD, you've got the Downtown Abbey Box set, and you want to watch one of them.
But can I please, while you're doing it, your side please. But the discs going into the place, while you're taking the old skart lead out, you're already doing, you're asking. You've called out the TV, you're back there. Oh, do you mind if I?
You've done it, haven't you? Do you mind? I won't be. I won't be.
I just want to play the first level. Intro, any intro in there? No, no intro. Not only scene.
You just landed. Pick a character or what? Oh, that one's myth. Yeah, you can pick.
So you can pick either a custom guy or girl, or the four pros that are right. Who are the four pros? Evan Smith, see how I got on my way. Running my skate and Thomas.
Oh, yeah. That's pretty good. You can't shame Chris Cole's not on it, but Thomas can kind of take his place going. Oh, yeah.
He's shared about with him. Next best thing, isn't it? Yeah, very true. You get to customize your guy.
There's a fair bit of customization to be fair. Nice. But what shoe company's got on there? New Balance?
Yeah, New Balance. S, I think, is on there. America, DC. Nice.
And Paul companies, is it just that those got primitive? Give me an anti-hero now, I suppose, for Evan Smith, and it will griffle sticks, whatever you want to call it. So he's not on element anymore. Is he not on element?
No, no, no. Evan makes them silver. They just killed it on the piece of video, and then it was like, yeah, we're going now. I think Brandon Westgate's still with them.
So maybe element is on there. Yeah, element is on there. Yeah, I'm sure. Yeah, those guys just...
Something happened. I don't know what happened. That's element. That's just what I do.
They just... They have a big league squad. And then a big league squad turns into a sea list squad. And then so surely they'll...
That would turn into a high-list squad. You have some weird board companies as well. There's blinds on there. Nice.
You got the old Reaper boards on there. You got the Reaper boards. Yeah. I think there's an A almost board on there.
Yep. And the one I use is the nine club board. Oh. So.
Very nice. And then... Traitor. Right.
I'm using the turbo sports radio board. If there was a turbo sports radio board, I'll be using that. But it's an X-ray board. There is then.
Okay. Yeah, I suppose it's a second best Cape 1 pod. It's a second best Cape 1. So you might as well use a nine club or an A-boarder.
Yeah. Yeah. And then the shoes, I'm wearing some K-lists of volts. Of course, yeah.
Yeah. Nice. So straight away, where you dropped in. You dropped in the school, you say.
The school is a high school. And the map. So it's not like skate where you've got this big city. You've got a few different, I think it's like four different maps.
But this high school is still pretty big. And there's lots of handrails, ledges, banks, hips, everything you could want. Pick your benches, right? Nice pick your benches.
Oh, yeah. But it's like a couple of different real schools as well. You've got Al Toro in there. Ah, you've done it?
Yeah, I've done a tri-flip down it. Oh, have you? Yeah, it's a big one. Five drives.
What did you do? Al Toro first when you first pulled up? Just all you did, just to see how fast. Just warmed it up and then what you do after that?
I think kickflip. Nice. And then drag after that. You touched the rail?
Oh, one more one more time. Al Toro, sorry. Wallenberg. Oh, nice.
Wallenberg is nice. Sorry, that's why the tri-flip did it. That's why the tri-flip did it. Yeah, that's why the tri-flip did it.
Yeah. Nice, OK. Yeah, I don't think Al Toro is in it. Ah, that's a shame.
That could be wrong. It's probably tucked away somewhere. But also, if you're going to amalgamate, it's four schools and stuck at like four college. Yeah.
And just stuck them all together. Then you're going to bleed in a little bit like scape with Sam Bernalona. You know what I mean? You'll have certain spots that you know are real spots, little tweak real spots and then it'll fall into another place.
Yeah, like you've got your Brooklyn banks and whatever. Yeah. Yeah. Nice.
So it's like that. Well, it is a lot of fun. So it's kind of, it kind of bleeds the gap between scape-free and session. Because you have the two foot thing.
Yeah. You do have more pop and sort of flow than you do on session. So it feels a bit more organic on ScapeXL. Okay.
But the grinds are really hard to do. So have you done like, have you done an SSBS? I don't think I have yet. Right.
Okay. Have you done a quick backtail? Yes. You have done one of them.
I don't want to do it. Both. Okay. Fair enough.
So you've definitely been, you know, practicing and getting down on this, isn't you? Yeah. But there doesn't seem, there's no like trick guide. So to figure out how to like backtail.
I guess it's this. Similar in terms of obviously with scape, we're talking about the right analog stick here. If you were to do like a smith or a backtail or something, you're kind of putting more weight on that bottom first than you would turn into the maneuver from there, wouldn't you? Yes.
That's right. But this, how does it work? Do you have to shift that other stick to move your other leg or does your body kind of move with your back foot? What's the crack with that?
So it's like all three. So you've got a... Oh, so the body is kind of a separate entity itself. Yeah.
So to do a smith, you want to make sure you're either turning slightly and yeah, or you've kind of already lined up. Yeah. Before you get into it. And then it's kind of like down on your popping foot and then up on your front foot.
Does that make more sense? Like if it crooks and stuff like that as well. It feels kind of right with the two foot operational thing. It does.
With a nose slide or a crooked, you know, backside, crooked grind. It's all like you're not even in your head. You've got no picture of your back foot at all really when you're doing those tricks. You're kind of just following suit.
Whereas the front foot is everything. And it kind of feels like that as well with it. But again, you're kind of just, that's what you're aiming with. Or do you have to kind of use, do you have to play around with a back foot as well?
For crook, not really. You don't have to play around with that back foot. That's pretty authentic then. Yeah.
You kind of just jam that front foot up and like try and get that in. So you're not top left on your log stick. That's all direction. Yeah, exactly.
Nice. Nice. And then for like a tail or nose slide, you kind of push the sticks left and right. So they're going the opposite way.
And here all your guy will kind of be sideways. Yeah. You just carry forward and you're just twisted. Yeah.
Nice. And then you're just like, what's the most thing? What's the hardest thing? If I said like first try you had to land a certain trick, what would get you out in a game of skate if you're playing against like a computer or something?
Probably like a... Not even either. Yeah, probably. Or switch tricks are really weird on it.
Yeah. So do they work that, you know how, when we play skate and you know when you accept someone doing a switch trick if they did it properly, right? Yeah. You have to go on and do the body barrier and then reverse your finger movements.
Or you do the one at you and again you'd be reversed. You'd just make sure you hold it up rather than down. Yes. Is it the same as that on this?
It's the same as that. So to do a switch kick flip, it's the kind of opposite way to do a walk-in flip. And with the other stick as well. Yeah.
Yeah. That sounds pretty hard. But it's quite nice because you put in what your stance is. And when you're in switch, his pop is different.
Hmm. Okay. So... Well, it just looks a little bit different.
It just looks a little bit different. It's just kind of a bit switch. Yeah. It looks.
It's a little bit switch-flip looks. Even though I've probably got it wrong on the front of the cover side. Oh, I know. Right.
Yeah. So it looks like it should be a switch flip. Nice. And you can tell as well.
Just the way you've stood on the board when you're rolling, it does look a little bit different. Like shoulders are turned a little bit more than that. Yeah. Something like that.
Yeah. Nice. So in terms of tricks and points and all that sort of stuff, is there any kind of heads up display? Is there anything telling you what you're doing?
Or is there nothing at all? Is it just cleans the screen and you've got to figure it out? So it's pretty much just a clean screen. You can, I've got it.
So in the top corner, in the top left corner, it will tell you what trick you've just done. But you can get rid of that. There's no points. So you can just have a completely blank screen.
Right. And is there, is there missions? Is there kind of like, you know, objectives? What's, you know, you're a photographer is knocking about.
No photographers. There are like, there's not being there. You're not there being weird or anything, nothing like that. Okay.
Right. There are challenges. There's actually loads of challenges. It'll be like just trick, right.
Just do a flip flip flip or something. Yeah. It'll be like, kick flip on this, there's it. Okay.
And then you click it and it'll take you to that ledge. Some of them ridiculously hard. Some of them are. Like something that you, can you imagine doing all of them?
Do you want me to obviously, you're pretty well-rounded gamer. You should be able to do most of the things you're asking. Is there certain things you're looking at going like, how the fuck am I going to do that? Am I actually going to be able to do a Nolly, Nolly in with heel, you know, backside nose blunt, Nolly here that was something.
I think they should be asking me to do that because that's a bit much better. No, it's nothing that extreme. But I'd be able to do all of them eventually if I wanted to. But I'm quite happy just going to a spot and just trying to either get a trick or a line.
And then one of the best features in this game is the replay editor. Yeah, it looks pretty good. So I was talking to you earlier when I before we started recording about Andy doing the Kelly Hartz, Fakitrai, Fakitmani. And then you sent me just before the switch, Fakitmani, same spot, the courthouse.
But both of them had a nice kind of film, basically. It was film nicely. It wasn't just like, you know, up your arse just kind of going towards the ledge. It was kind of like a cinematic sort of side on sort of you.
It was obviously playing around with the cameras. With the cameras, can you just move that around wherever you want it to be? So there's a free camera. So you can put that wherever you want.
And you can put in a keyframe. Oh, you place it? Yeah, I place it yourself. And you've got to know a bit what you're doing, or else the keyframes like wig out and the cameras all over the place.
Right. But sort of less is more in that situation. Yeah. But it's fun to film lines like you would in real life.
And you can, yeah, so you can hit certain points. You know what I mean? If you're doing a line, you can kind of tap, you can say if the camera's getting close to the ledge. So if you're hitting like a ledge, then you're doing like a, just going over some sort of gap.
Then you hit the ledge again. Could you tell the camera to go kind of go close to you on the ledge further away on the gap and close to your ledge again? Like is that that much control? Yeah, there's a complete freedom of it.
Nice. Nice. I do like that. I mean, like you can even, you can even add some like slight sort of tilt to the camera.
So if you're, if you're doing like a follow line, if you really want to get into it, you can sort of sway the camera as if the person following you is on a board themselves. Go around. Nice. Can you change the lens?
Can you have like a long lens or a fish or is it just always fish? No, you can change it. So you can, there's like a field of view is how you do it. So you can prop zoom that in or you can, you can real really come out of it and get this super fish.
Look, can you do like the drone shots, you know, like a Danny wave mega ramp sort of like. Oh, yeah, you'd be able to see that. How do you do that? Yeah, they've got a mega ramp.
Yeah, they've got a mega ramp. You only got that? No, that's great. What are the grabs like?
How do you grabs? So the grabs are like our one and our one. Okay. What's the grab you've done?
Probably like an average grab. Nice. Just straight. No, just straight.
No, just grab like 900 sort of thing. I have nothing about on a mega. You've got an hundred, have you? Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. You can't play here. I'm going to throw for your achievement for doing it as well.
It's called the mega. I'm doing a nine. Yeah, it's like there's a massive quarter pipe. I am doing a 900.
Does it feel right? You know what I'm saying? That's speed and sound and everything when you go down a mega ramp. I think skate kind of nearly had that pretty good.
It was pretty good. I think some of it was a bit clunky, but it was pretty good in terms of like, you know, the speed you're hitting and how it kind of through the air. Yeah. Is it feel as good as a skate three?
Yeah, it does feel pretty good to be honest. Like that kind of a big kicker at the bottom of the mega. That really does throw you. Yeah.
Is there is there pumping in there? No, that is something that I do wish there was. Because I think when you first play skate and you kind of need to pump, sometimes it becomes a little bit mature, right? But then you get, I'm talking when you first open a box and you're just out playing it.
Yeah. And then once obviously, as a skateboarder, everyone knows if you're not skateboarded, you don't know you'll find out about it. But if you go down any sort of ramp, you're basically just placing your weights on it. And you're just moving, it's kind of like you could put your weight in your front foot, your back, but depending on where you're on a ramp, it's going to propel you more.
The skate had that down. It did work. Especially on like the third one where, kind of a first one, you just have to use R2 and it was a trigger, wasn't it? But on the third one, there was a different way of doing it.
Sorry, you both. I'm sure you can kind of like press forwards and it would do it. You can't do it like a little duck. I think it would.
Yeah, like you push forward on your steering stick. Yeah. So you could just do it with the trigger. It's a bit clunky because obviously he's going down to grab his board, right?
Yeah. Yeah, your directional stick. He just has a little kind of, he just has to set it down a little bit, doesn't he? But he does work.
It's just enough to propel you forward. Yeah. So is that something you would, if you were going to write into the skater exhale, you'd say maybe give us a pump next time? But where would you, if you're going to give us a pump next time, can they implement it with the control system they've got?
Is there space for it? Yeah. Is that what it happened to? Yeah, I don't know where you'd put it.
Probably, you could probably... Don't just say square or something. You could press square every time you want to pump. You could probably do it on the sticks because like to do an ollie, you have to go down, then release it.
But you could go down. What happens if you don't go down? You don't ollie. But does it do anything?
No. If you just press forwards or whatever. So maybe there is pumping and I haven't destroyed. Okay.
Yeah, there might be, there might be, there might be, sorry. Yeah. So they might be pumping. We'll get back to you on that one.
But that will be. We'll get back to you on that one. You've put it in a new section of the website you want. Yeah.
Right. If you want it, it's up to you. No. That's fine.
No. We'll just leave that dead. Yeah. It's gone, by the way.
It's been a long, long run. Yeah. So, so, yeah. What are you going to bring to table about Skaterx?
So anything that people need to know about, you know, getting to buy the game or something that make, you know, make them enjoy it or something that you just know about generally. So I just think if you've been missing Skate and you, if on Skate you like to try and get particular tricks. If you thought for those lines like you would in real life, then Skaterx out, I think it's definitely for you. So if you're, if you're a session marker man, do you know what I mean?
If you like that session marker at the top of that, that, that rail line, you can just, I've got a session marker right there. Yeah. Yeah. So if you're one of those, like me and you would play, you know what I mean?
If you're based on your passive controller or something like that, but it's the same sort of thing. You know, you can just get stuck into it and you just perfect it, get, get, get, get, get back or something and just get, you know, get it right. Yeah. Just keep going and, and like trying to get stuff clean as well.
Yeah. So, if you like something a little bit off, did they have a little bit of a wobble? Yeah. It's not quite right.
So if you go back, sometimes where you land something and you thought you had it and it will still give you a wobble. Does it do that? If you, if you get it pretty square, you'll always roll away clean or sometimes you'll go like, well, one second, I think I, I came out of that, you know, that Smith grind or, or you want it, you know, something out of the grind and you felt like you should have gone straight. Even if it's a slightly different angle, you could still carry on the trick.
Do you get robbed sometimes? Does it always get you right? It's very rarely you're getting robbed. Have you been robbed?
A few times, but I mean, the times you get robbed more are where you're trying to sort of get a little bit of a manual. Right. Is that difficult? Manuals.
A little bit because you've kind of, say you want to do a kick flip manual, you've got to do your kick flip. So, so that's holding down on, that's down on the right stick, right? Yeah. And then like up on the left stick.
Yeah. Up in like diagonal or just straight left. Top left. And then, and then what you doing for the manual?
So you've then got to reset the stick. So you do that flick. Don't touch him. Don't touch him.
Then it's down on your right stick. On your right stick. But not all the way. Yeah.
Well, you kind of just in that little, in that little zone there. You're in that little pocket. Yeah. Yeah.
But it's just, it's just sort of that reset that keeps throwing me. Oh, you, yeah, you have to stop the first trick basically. Yeah, because there's a kind of not quite a manual catch mode on it. But like if you go to scoop like a tray flip.
Yeah. Like say you want to do like a tray flip nose or something. Yeah. If you don't go back with that, with that scoop.
He's that board is just going to keep shoving. He's going to keep his back foot out. That makes sense though. Yeah.
Does make sense. Because if it didn't say that and you've still got the, the analog stick in that vicinity, you know, you're going over there. Yeah. You've got to like, yeah, you've got to follow the physics of the game.
You can't ask him to do that actually. And then for it to still kind of work when, yeah, yeah, I'm with you. What about if you're trying to look at those manual? Obviously because then you're, you're left the left stick.
You're doing a flick, right? Yeah. Can you just hold it? Would you be able to just, would you have to let go?
Or would you be able to like kind of just slip that over into the top? That's the thing. You can't just slip it over like you would want to. See that?
See, that's what, but that's how it would work, right? Surely. Surely you'd be, I mean, you're slipping over, right? You're doing a kick flip and you're kind of waiting for the catch to then to, I suppose you're waiting for the catch?
Yeah. But it's a bit more fluid in real life. And kind of like just natural simulation. Yeah.
Well, you know, like it's, it's natural. You're going to, if you're doing a kick foot nose manual, you are just going to be bringing your foot back anyway. Yeah. Well, your brain knows, isn't it?
It's not your fingers telling your board to do something, your brain knows what your body's doing. So it's got that kind of connectivity that you're still going to have until they get the, was it Oculus Rift? That's one of the other things. It's a VR thing, yeah?
If they did a skateboard version of that. Just go out with skateboards. Like, yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. I've always thought about that, like, if they do the GTA version of that, that's when you're going to start like getting some fucking crazy people out there doing all those sides of the coin. Because if you just go around, I mean, it'd be a good game, wouldn't it? Yeah.
I mean, if you can just go. Oh, it'd be a lot of fun. Yeah. But yeah, I think it's probably too close.
Like, you're actually actioning those, you know, if you're holding a gun. Because obviously there must be some shoot-muck games, right, on those consoles. Yeah, there is. So I mean, yeah, you're already kind of there.
But GTA is probably a little bit sick because you probably just start shot-going someone through their car, would you? Pulling them out and then shot-going them on the ground and then steal their car while they're dead in front of you. Yeah. They're in the machine.
They're in the mover with their own car. And then, you know, you do. Then just leave their car. You don't travel the car.
You can leave their car next to them. Yeah, that's pretty much the GTA isn't it? Yeah. Yeah.
It's just going to keep people indoors, they make. If you're talking about skating, everything, get people up. It's going to keep people indoors too much. Obviously, skate with, you kind of get people indoors, but on a sunny day, you still want to play this?
I think maybe like, you kind of get up, you have your toast. You play a bit, skate your ex-ale. Yeah. It's like, I'm going out and skating today.
No, it's okay. Just get your limb before it. This is a pre-stretch workout. This has been getting me super excited to skate again.
Okay. Annoyantly, I've just been busy this week and had to like go places and be an adult. So it's like, I really, really want to be on that board. So I think, I don't think it's going to keep people in too much.
