We’re spending significant time in the northern hemisphere this week, starting off with legendary Afghan Ghazal singer Dr. Mohammad Sadiq Fitrat a.k.a. Nashenas, and moving swiftly into contemporary hypnotic Thai sounds from Mogambo. Trips to Sweden, Israel, and the UK follow, including the fabulous new recorder-led record from Laura Cannell, and surf-infused pop music from Armon בשחור לבן.
