In this episode we talk with adventurer Cyril Derreumaux about what it takes to cross the Pacific Ocean on a Kayak!! Cyril became the 2nd person ever to cross the Pacific Ocean on a solo kayak from California to Hawaii. He did this through the sheer power of perseverance and human spirit. In this episode we talk about what went into this endeavor. How can we use the cycle of failure (his first attempt did not go well)? How can we better handle fear when faced with truly terrifying situations like storms in the middle of nowhere with no help to be found? What strategies do people use to face self doubt?
