For episode #37 we catch up with the proprietor of Treadwell's bookshop, Christina Oakley Harrington on her recent publication "The Treadwells Book of Plant Magic".   Treadwell's first ever guidebook has been two years in the making; Christina focused exclusively on actual magical powers attributed to the plants, so this book is full of the old ways plants have been used to achieve love, win competitions, open locks, become invisible, see fairies, gain good luck, achieve success, receive protection, and many more.  She consulted over 200 sources for the book, and every spell is footnoted discreetly at the back.   We also catch up on what's been going on at Treadwells since lockdown and how their famous lecture series is now online.
