Here we go then mate. Turbo Sports Radio, issue number 37. 37, eh? Yeah, 37.
And, well, it's gonna be a skate companion. New little featurette, if you will. Skate companion. Evan Smith, DC video part, modern frequency.
Let's get into it. Let's play the theme tune. There we are. Evan Smith, Evan Smith's modern frequency part mate.
DCs. Is it Evan Smith's part? Or DC's part? How are you framing it?
It's Evan Smith's part, but it's presented by DC. Okay, all right, I'm with you. It's him or DC's. Yeah, it's Evan Smith's part, but DC, I kind of just, they're saying...
Don't forget about that. They are saying the same fucking video, really, it may. Yeah, I mean, it seems you start watching it, all the stings of them, but... Yeah, exactly.
Anyway, so for this, we're gonna... New kind of feature, skate companion. So basically we're gonna have the video queued up in front of us. We have done it before, but we didn't really think about a little name that we could go with it.
So, skate companion, we're gonna sync it up together. We're gonna play at the same time and we're gonna get our live reaction to it, right? Yeah, that's it. If you are...
Yeah, if you wanted to watch your long listen along, get on YouTube or Thrasher, so either one, let the advert play. Let that motherfucker don't know what it is, if it's for some... I had some random fucking thing, it wasn't even skate play, it was some sort of cake or something. Weird, some cake company.
Yeah, so let that play. Now you're on the zero zero. It might play a little bit, so just make sure you just go back. You can always click back, can't you?
You can always go back. Yeah, just go back to start, zero zero. And then we're gonna just do a little countdown and then we're gonna click and press play at the same time. That's fair, right?
That's fair. That's fair. So here we go, then. So we're gonna go from five, we go five, four, three, two, and on one, one is the press.
Okay, that's what we're gonna do, everyone. So if you're ready for it, the same pace, same pace as me. Five, four, three, two, press. And so now you should be seeing a nice little thrasher kind of sting from blue to red.
Quite a nice one, I like it. You've got a nice animation esque. Quite a sign. And then of course there's a DC logo spinning.
Well, in Evan Smith's name popping up. Nice kind of old school kind of... It's like VCR kind of, kind of thing. Yeah, exactly.
Now we're in, we're in. Evan, nice, was that four push, mate? That was four push, I think. Five push.
He's in, just clicking it early up there. Good long pushes. Nose blunt, the nose manual. No, it's the non-leaf frontside flip out.
And he's still going. Then he switched up on flat. Just a good measure. That's pretty cheeky, right?
That is the definition. Yeah, backside blunt slide, upper ledge, upper stair set, flip out. And then same again tail backside flip. Is that the same spot with that different spot, right?
Different spot. Yeah, I think. Yeah, nice. No, it's all wally.
Got a level wally. Yep. He's there, nose blunt again, he likes him. He's got his valgories on this line.
That's it. And we'll ride to tail slide. So Evan Smith's just got this. Just this real kind of like, easy skating, which is easy to watch as well.
You kind of, you enjoy watching him because it looks so kind of like effortless. You can tell he's, he's getting some big shit. Yeah. Well, you can just see from his trick selection, and even spot selection, he's just super comfortable on the board.
Like, he's just having fun with it. Yeah, exactly. And just as we're talking about that, he wouldn't have had fun with that, mate. No, he's in a switch, very, very heel up some stairs, right?
How long is it taking him to do that? And then a beautiful switch outlet, which is just perfection. That three, six, he knows grabbing his sweet part. Who's done that before?
Don't say Steve Caballero, because he might be riding, let us know. Nice little kick flip on flat. Yeah. Nice kick flip on flat.
Yeah. But he didn't, but he just warmed us up, didn't it? Yeah. Little interval.
Intermission. Yeah. Yeah, quickly. I'm going to have a swig of gin right now.
Yeah. And the swig of Cronenberg still waiting for the sponsor. Yeah. Cronenberg, if you're out there, come on.
Okay, brother up. Right. We're back in. He's up, park, all around it.
And now he's just nose grinding just over. Well, they call him like a love seat or something like that. I think they are a love seat. Yeah.
Okay. Right in the letters, no. Anything like transition skateboarding at all. And that's classic.
Just pooze to know over a couple of picnic ventures, mate. Day one style. Exactly. Decadades.
And that kick flip. Wow. That was a signature kick flip, right? If you've got to try and copy anyone's kick flip, it's that.
They'd be decent one of the copy, wouldn't it? Yeah. But you can even have to do himself with that, because I mean, look at that switch heel. One side flip.
Oh, get over there. Yeah. Stick it. Of course you stick to get a bit in.
You can do that to get on DC. You have to know how to get. So yes. So that switch that switch tray there.
That was Corey Shepard did that in a form one back in the day. If someone can kick the whole kick flip through a hole, who's doing a kick flip through a hole? I think they needed like a reverse angle on that to see how he had to thread it. Oh, that switch flip is perfect.
That's another one because I think Shane O'Neill, I would always say he's arguably got the best switch flip of all time. You know, a few people are up there. You have caught, yeah, that's what I like. You don't even try and step into an Oscar.
You can switch into a nose going down a handrail. So he's always going to be there or there about it's near the top. He's probably the king of switch flips. Back to 60 flip.
Yeah, yeah, Chris Gold's going to show. I love this. Yeah, I love that. Right in there.
And then just just showing crust here. Just showing I can kick flip into crust. That's a lot of kick flips, isn't it? Oh my God.
It's just beautiful. Crook over a gap to back lifting and to get out. And then spin a roux. Spin a roux.
Put his hand down just for the, you know, just for the seeds quality that was that little hand down. Just because he can. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He didn't mean it.
No, that just makes it fun. No, yeah, don't it? What an end of that is though. Yeah, I mean, so there we go.
Right. So that was the Evan Smith. I mean, if you just listen to us talking, you know, having a few little guys, I'm sorry for that. You probably should have watched it.
You're very bit more fun with it. But if you didn't, then we're going to break it down a little bit further so we can actually kind of go back and pick out some tricks. I really, you know, both of us really liking it. What you saying, mate?
Straight away, just watch that. Watch Rick's standing your head, you know, that you've got right there now, which is one of the first tricks that blunt to kick flip. Nice. Up that wall.
Yeah, nice. Because it's nice. I imagine some people would want to do that to like fakey or like front side flip out of it. Yeah.
I think to bring it back to a back to regular takes more control than you might first think. Yeah, I can't really look past the kick flip through a hole. I'm just going to try and find out on the timestamp because I just it's fucking stupendous. He was looking at it.
I need to really just get, you know, get this into here. Here we go. That's big. That is big, big, big, big set.
I mean, it's a big hole, big enough to get him through, right? It needs to be. But who's, is anyone on either through that first? Or would you think he's turned up there somewhere in Brazil or something, right?
But they've got a hole in a wall knocking about somewhere. And he's gone, I can only through that. And he's only through it. And then once he's only through it, you know, it's not the next flip it.
It's so good. I'm just going back and watching it now. How big is it? Well, it's.
So the stair set itself is nine. It's something, something like that. It's not the thing that you stare set in itself though. Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, it's a decent stair set. But to go through that hole, and it's a big hole, right? But you wouldn't, you know, you want the room. You know, you wouldn't do it for a smaller hole, would you?
No. And no, you wouldn't, any smaller. And you're just, you're not going to bother. It's not worth the time.
No, because you're going to smash your face. You're going to scalp yourself. Or you're going to, you're going to clip your heels or clip on it and you're going to, you're going to get hurt. And then the people in the background are waiting to get on that mini bus.
They're going to be like, like, shall we help him? Probably not. No, leave you. They'll just leave.
They won't help you. They'll just look at you from afar wondering how hurt you are. That's what happened there, mate. Right, well, what else we got then that really kind of stuck out to you?
I will say, the little interlude took a little bit too long, didn't it really? I'm going to be honest. Nothing really happened in it. If there was a bit more interest.
I know he's saying he's a bit of a, you know, he likes nature and likes knocking about and just sitting on some rocks or whatever he's doing. But, you know, Mark's YouTube, he showed us maybe just, you know, just take a couple of tricks in your cutaways. We like that, don't we? Because we're not going to get bored of the park.
We're going like, well, he's still skating. Because it's not even like it's like a change of song. If it was like, if it was an eight minute video and you had that at the sort of three and a half sort of mark, that would make sense. And then a change of pace.
Kind of like a Mark John's situation. Sorry, give us a bit of a premium room. Exactly. Yeah, yeah.
So, yeah, I'm going to pull him up on that a little bit. You know, DC, whoever who's putting that together, maybe next time, just leave that a little bit shorter. Or give it something else. You know what I mean?
If they're just some really crazy shit, but I think I've done it before with him being like, intergalactic and stuff, you know, stars and shit around him. That's what I'd like to see with Evan Smith. You can get a little bit further with him. You know, psychedelic sort of stuff.
Yeah, he does have that edge to him, doesn't he? So, you can get away with that. Who edited it? I don't know.
I know Chris Ray, he was involved. DC, he's made a DC film for fucking years now, isn't he? Yeah. But yeah, I don't know who edited it.
Yeah. Let's have a little look. Yeah, so there was a nice, really nice, and where was it? At 129, he goes like a Smith down like a curved rail down a stair set and then one eighties out.
And I guarantee you, like, it doesn't look that curvy, you know, in video, but I guarantee if you were there, you wouldn't be thinking you could skate down that thing. No, and not to like 180 out the wrong way as well. Is this like a, yeah, it's a front smith, if any front 180's out, right? Yeah, that is just...
Yeah, you can feel how disgusting that is to try, don't you? Yeah, you can see what it's body didn't want to do 180. That was like asking it to do it, dug in deep to get that 180 out of there. But it did, it did.
Like the Mac Beline, that was nice one, really, you know, just obviously it's kind of, I suppose, you know, in my area of watching skating, there was loads in a bastion salivance, he sort of lines and everyone, all four ones, there's always some kind of Mac bird line. And then it kind of probably came out of favor because everyone did it, and it wasn't, it was a bit of a faux pas maybe. Now it's been long enough where, yeah, you can go back to Mac Beline and you can put a line. And the trick that he does in it is pretty good.
Let's have a little look, I can't remember what it was, something crazy. So, he's goofy, right? Yeah, so it's like he ends the line on that knollied back heel. So he's doing a, he's doing a fakey nose grind, backside, backside.
Yeah, of course, he won it, he's out of it, as you do. As you do. There's one push, which I do appreciate, that was just one push mate, a fish and push. We were talking about that the other day about, you know, our fish, you need to be your pushes.
And that was one push, he's got it done. That's all he needed. Didn't need to do a little half jab push. No, because there's nothing worse than one of those half jab pushes.
Oh, God, yeah, just film it again, film it again. And then yeah, what did he hit after that? So he does one push and then he hits the knollied heel. Yeah, knollied back heel, like nose grind, I guess.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But he just, yeah, he's done with his nose grinding. Yeah, so let's say nose grind. Yeah, and he does, yeah.
I reckon he wanted another trick after that as well. I reckon he tried to carry on, but they cut it. Because there's another ledge further on. So you can keep going for a little bit there.
Well, you can go anywhere, Matt, but can't you go down the ramp to the left, you could jump over the, there's a little ledge next to it. I think I could have one. He's like a drop on the, yeah, there's a drop right after that. Yeah, it's not the biggest drop.
So maybe that's what he thought. Maybe, maybe didn't look good with the trick down the drop because it wasn't big enough. That switch very well. Yeah, I've just paused on that.
That's 145 mate, right? Yeah, 145, he's just on top of it. He's just landing it as we speak. And how would you do that?
Like, you know, I didn't, it's kind of the best switch here in the world, but so I'm on a good day. I can get it high. I'm not saying it's like massive, but it naturally kind of wants to spring up. How the fuck are you putting a variol in there?
Because the variol is a front shove. And for me, a switch front shove don't go high at all. No, there's a spring in the cross the ground. Yeah, they're going across.
They're getting over, they're getting over the line. And he's just, yeah, it's just perfect. It's so good. And then after, does he get like a variol, like a body variol, sort of trick, sex change thing going on?
Yeah, it's a switch flip. Body variol. So again, switch again. That was switched, right?
That was switched. Yeah. How was he getting up there? There's long legs.
It's those long legs. I guess he was feeling the switch dance that day. Yeah, he must have been having a good day. Because that is just crazy good.
What do you reckon he did first? The variol or the split? I think he did the variol. Just fucking about with a variol.
Just fucking about with a variol and any thought. OK, because I can do that, might as well try a real trick. And because they like the camera angle and the other ones, they have to put it in there. But yeah, he did the real trick first.
And then they just, yeah, little bonus one afterwards with the body variol. Yeah, that's what that was. And then who that was for? Instagram one, he did that.
And he did because I love it. Yeah, yeah, he can use it as a teasist clip, it's fine. Actually, he's actually don't. But straight away afterwards, mate, straight away next clip is the kick flip front 50 on a round rail next to a fucking wall.
Right? It looks like it even be in London that spot. It could be. It could be anywhere in Europe.
But yeah, that's just tucked away. That clip, proper zero style of just sticking. He's gone. You know, he's well on that.
Yeah, there's no even one on that. No, nothing. Then we go straight to the 360 nose grab, which is beautiful. Who's doing a front side 360 nose grab?
Has anyone ever done that in a street park? Probably not. No. To be fair, maybe somebody else will power out of videos.
They might. They may have had someone do that because they did some fucking goofy tricks back then. They were kind of figuring out when they had nice tricks. And then they had some real goofy ones as well.
And it's like kick flip nose grab or something. Yeah, they don't do that anymore. Just flop them off the curb. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, maybe Tony Hawk back in the 80s. Did it?
Yeah, maybe Tony Hawk back in the 80s. Yeah, exactly. But apart from that, I don't think anyone else has. What else we got?
There's a beautiful kick flip at the three 10 mark over rail. And again, something we don't really see enough of. Just someone just doing a nice clean trick. You know, over rail.
Kind of like Mark Appleyard used to do quite a lot. Kick over rail. It was like a nice look. It's a nice thing to do, right?
Because you're showing this. This kick flips mean this is a proper kick flip. I've just paused it in that like mid. He's just caught it.
And he's so far over that rail as well. I'm going to land on it. Let me just pull it back on with you. Because I, yeah, I'd like to visualize that as well.
Oh, he's not worried over it. He's flying over it. I've paused it a little bit late. I was a bit heavy handed there.
So I think that's exactly on the peak. I'm not going to lie to you. And I'm sure not everyone else did as well. On a 312, right?
Yeah. And he's a bit lower than he should be. I want to be. He's clearing it by a country mile.
He is absolutely clearing it. That's a big stair set. That's a one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight or nine, I'd say. Something like that.
But that's long. That's a long stair set. And he's just fucking flying over it. Yeah.
And he's going the longer way as well. He's kind of going diagonal across it. Yeah, you've got to do it that way. You've got to do it that way.
Yeah, that's the way to do it. That is just before that clip. Just so we don't forget about it. I think it has some sort of like kick flip back lip.
Kick the back lip on a ledge. You know, it's a little crusty little ledge. But then whoops it round all the way the other way. So kind of one eighties or two seventies out.
Yeah. But the opposite way that your body wants you to go. It's like my body would never do that ever. Yeah.
You just whipped it round. Yeah, that's three ten. Yeah, that's three ten. And then we get, oh, here we go.
This is nice. That is a long stair set. That is a kick flip. That is pretty long.
Yeah, I think it's a long eight. I think it's what it is. Yeah, yeah. Because if you look at the distance between like the bars at the bottom going into the stairs.
The gaps between them, that kind of gives you an indication how big it is. You know what I mean? That's pretty big. That's pretty big because they wouldn't have them right next to each other.
You know, the ones in the middle. No, yeah. So those two there going down to that. So that's even those two there, those two stairs.
That could be like law library size. Really long steps. Yeah. There's not your average step, are they?
No, definitely not. And then he does flex in a little bit of tech after that as well. So he's a little tech section for, I mean he's tech anyway. But he does the old, was that Trey Nose manual?
Yeah. He's not a Pivot. Yeah, just Pivot. Yeah, I'd say Pivot out of that mate.
Not one AO, isn't he? He's pivoting out of that. Which is fine. I'm not knocking that.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing. If I say you're using a pivot, don't take it as a, you know, anything offensive. It's fine. And then you've got the switch like wallie.
Yeah. Yeah. That's nice. And then he's switched front side split over a fence and then a switch heel down.
He's just showing you this little part of the video. He's saying these, I've got some weapons here. I've hit some good shit in this. You know, last six months.
Yeah. And I'm, I'm declaring this is a declaration. It's like you're going to fucking take this seriously because so he's, I'm coming. I'm coming.
I'm coming. Don't think I've got enough, but I'm coming. I don't think I'm going to beat my mate. No, we need to love a part, doesn't he?
Yeah, but so does, well, he's, he had two now. Makes him silver. He had two of the two. Yeah, 30 bass.
He needs a third. He needs a third. He's not going to get it. Yeah, he needs a, yeah, he needs a, I actually was listening to, um, to Carrie Rogers the other day.
Fuck knows why. But I was. I was skate line. And he was saying the same thing.
He was saying that. Yeah, you're just, you're just getting the time and right. Just get, I think maybe, so I can't remember what he said October and November or something like that. And he said, just get, you know, just get your video part out there.
You're in, you're in for a chance. But the same time is maybe bring a shoe out. Maybe, you know, there's a few things you can do to help your cause. Um, but yeah, I think those two with a front runners right now, I don't think it's anyone else up there.
I mean, can you think of anyone else? Not at the top of my head now. You know, there's been some decent video parts out there, but I just, I mean, I still think Mason silver is 100% he's winning league at the moment. You know, he's, he's in the lead by a good, probably 10 points.
Not saying this is an awesome video part. Five minute part solid. You know, that's what we're looking for these days. Five minutes.
But he's going to need something. He's probably going to need to. Or he's going to need a nice couple of spit by all independent tour videos on Thrasher where he's fucking ripping it. That's what he needs.
Yeah, definitely in like November time is when if you can squeeze out a video then, I think you're what you want to a winner. Yeah. Yeah. If you can squeeze out a video yourself, you're on to a winner.
I mean, I mean, it's weird now, but I actually think you won't, but actually, Ty Sean, he won it. He won it with the Supreme part, really, didn't he? Yeah. So it was, I was kind of thinking that the people win it now with parts that actually parts in a video or do they just win it when they do this, you know, the strategic.
I'm going to play some video here and here and here and here and I'm going for the individual videos for yourself. Is that a strategy? But if Ty Sean, you know, Ty Sean, Jones won it surely it was, yeah, it was just off the Supreme part. I mean, he did have a good year.
I don't get me wrong. Yeah, I think there's less than that. Sorry. Sorry.
No, that was definitely one of the most recent ones that has been part of a video because everyone else, even like Milton Martinez, that was like his own Greek job video, wasn't it? Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. That's what I'm getting at. I'm just thinking of all the previous winners of recent era, what everyone's been doing this strategy.
They're all hitting the, you know, they're doing well and then they're slipping out a video part of right time of the year. Yeah. Because I mean, like you've had Jamie Foy just before Ty Sean. Yeah.
And he had King of Road on his, for him as well, didn't he? I'm sure that was the same year. King of Road is a deaf-wish part, I think it was. Yeah.
So, I mean, if you're competing in the, you know, the branded scavenger hunt who's given the award away, you know, that, that, that governing body who is giving the award away and you do welling there in their thing, you're more likely to win it. I mean, Milton Martinez, he was, he was, he did, he did deserve it, right? He did kill it and his video part was incredible, but he's a poster boy in a half. Oh, yeah.
Like if, if, if, if Russia were only going to sponsor one person at the moment, it's Milton, yeah, which is bollocks because it should be Louis Lopez. Really? Yeah. You know, if you're going to sign any skateboarder right now, I mean, Mason, to be fair, Mason silver is up there as well.
It's Louis all the way. Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. I would definitely take Louis, but Mason, you'd have to ponder over that if you have both of them. You know, you have to think, but he's Mason's killing it and he's probably going to get the job done in one year that Louis couldn't do in five.
Louis could have just- Louis could have just- Yeah, he's been fucked over, I think, three years, I think he's been fucked over. So, Louis, just maybe don't worry about it, mate, but maybe do, you know. Well, maybe Louis is using this whole lockdown thing and it's just filmed nonstop and next year he's going to put out two videos that he's filmed in the last few months. Yeah, I can see that.
But do it properly. You do a March video and a November video and you're good. Yeah, and then you just make sure you're- There's a smattering of little kind of promotional footage in the middle of that. Yeah.
Yeah, obviously. Yeah, get a new shoe colour way out, but do a nice little video for it. Nothing special, you know, 49 seconds or something. You know, they're crazy.
Let's get to tricks in and out and then just have some sort of tour video where you know, the F.A. boys are a person. And to be fair, he's got the right people with him, because F.A. generally, every year will put out a couple of good videos.
Nothing incredible, nothing like trying to be the world leaders, but they're always about our content, every fucking year. You know, there's always good under-outing content, you know. There's always- You always see good stuff from F.A. Yeah.
So maybe if they can just hit the big one, they can go for a stupendous video, because this would work. If F.A. release the video, you know, thrashes season, the skateboardier season, Louis Lopez will probably win skateboardier. an able week compared to one of you, I think I'll get two time here.
Okay, fucking two time. Yeah, but then you've also got like Elijah. Yeah, yeah, he might be real hungry for it. Yeah, but Ty Sean could get it again.
Yeah, he could get it again. Okay, I mean, if Nick, he'll get it easily. If Nick, he'll want it all fucking Bradley, if any of them really turned it on at any point, they'd probably be in for a running. They really, really wanted to get content out, which is the thing I really like about FA is that it's like, now we're just doing our thing.
And we don't have to put content out when you want to put content out. We're gonna put it out when we feel like it or if we can be asked to put it out. It's kind of one of those, it's like, if for example I had, like in my end right now, mate, I have got the video that kind of brought up on, Christmas present, Zero Dying to Live video, right? VHS right in front of me.
If there was like one of these every fucking week, I wouldn't cherish this and I still wouldn't own them. Do you know what I mean? I've held this for however long I've had it because it meant something. You know, you've got to make things special.
And when you, the whole Instagram culture as well, we're not gonna go down that road right now because we'll start slagging everyone off any universe. You know, which is easily done because everyone needs it. But it's like, yeah, everyone just wants to put shit out. And FA got it right because they don't, they don't just put shit out.
They'll put good stuff out when it needs to come out. And they kind of, I suppose protect their skates and sense of just not showing all their clips and just showing a few bits of their stuff. Yeah, it goes a long way, doesn't it? Yeah, I just think the more, I mean, even like, some like, Stefan Janoski, you know, he brought him up earlier.
He was someone that, you didn't see loads of his footage. Habitat I bring out a video every couple of years and he would have a good video part in it. But it wasn't like you're gifted with his videos all the time, they're fucking cherished. And that's, I think we're kind of losing that because we're just seeing everyone's shit day in, day out.
I mean, Nick Tucker is front-side, but it's probably one of the best ever. But I've seen it so many times now, like just on Instagram that you kind of decent side to it. I still, you know, I'll send it to someone if I've seen it and go like fuck me, you've seen it front-side by Nick Tucker. But if I'd only seen it five times down some legendary spots, I'd probably hold it in high regard.
But I don't. Yeah, I mean, you can guarantee, if you go on Instagram now, you're gonna see it. So. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And he's not the only one. There were so many people that you can tell, like they just, they filmed it. It's not just like a, like a cheeky little phone clip that they got while they were warming up. It's like all, they've bullied the filmmer into giving them the clip to put up on their Instagram.
That's like, come on. That's it. Yeah, don't ever bully the filmmer. Never bully the filmmer.
Remember Max tried to do that for you. So it was a sweat shield or something. It was a backstop, apparently when it was off the block at the train station. This is Max Lotter, everyone.
And he kept asking, then he's even messing with me. And I was like, you gotta ask John O. John O's footage. John O's footage.
I was like, oh, I was really, I don't even know. Did that footage ever get like, get out anywhere? Did he ever posted it? I think I did give it to him in the end.
Okay, fair enough. Well, I hope I don't. I hope I don't, yeah. But I just had a whole like, so, yeah, every other day was like, can I get that backstop flip?
It's like, come on, like. No, you can't. Anyway, let's get back to Evan. You know, let's bring a couple more little favorite pieces from this mate.
Early doors, I will say, I did like the, the first clip, the first clip. Just pushing the long line. Yeah, so he's in a playground and let me just get it lined up for me now, so I can kind of go through it. He's in a playground, a little bit of rain on the lens, just stroking those pushes away, just beautiful, just stroking away.
One more for good measure. And then just, just, yeah, mind-melt her. I mean, who's doing a nose-plant to manual? Then what was that?
Nolly, front side flip. Yeah, Nolly front side. And then, then, the fucking audacity to just throw in a switch, switch hard flip. You know, obviously he was a celebratory switch-har flip, wouldn't it?
That's what that was. He knew he got the clip so he can just, he can throw anything, he's probably gonna land it. But that's one of my, I think that's one of my favorite clips in the video. It's a good video that we'll clip the start with.
Yeah, that's a brilliant way to start the video. Because you could have easily used that later down the line in the timeline, just to help yourself out a little bit, give you a bit of, you know, because it's quite a long clip, but very nice wear start on it. Because you're in. And then just a nice, yeah, just that switch-har flip, mate.
It was massive, it was huge. It was huge. It was huge. Doing a switch-har flip, that well popped.
Yeah, yeah, go to the, yeah, round of 42nd mark, probably 39 seconds in around there. It is massive. He just knows what he's doing. Whatever highlights you've got in there.
Obviously got the switch, the real nice switch flip over there, like over the rail or the wall or whatever it is. You know, so like a gap, gap to out switch flip with some nice brown shoes on. That's later in the video somewhere. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's kind of like over.
So it's down the stairs, so over a wall. Perfect switch flip. That's at a 359 mark. That is something special as well.
That is, yeah. What about the last two tricks? So you've got the crook and then the gap to 50-50. Yes, you see that, this, yeah, the last two tricks, it's a bit of a, you know, you make sure you believe that that crook 50 is his ender, didn't he?
It feels like it's an ender, doesn't it? And you take it, you take it. So you're already happy. You're already, you sent the fans home happy, and you're like, yeah, solid.
That is crazy. You're like, who has ever done that? And got away with it. I'm not fucking landed.
You know, broke their spine over the second ledge. And you're like, oh yeah, nice. So we're happy now. And then, no, no, we're not done.
We're not done. I'm gonna find some really junky looking stair set with a ledge on the side of it, down a big fucking hill. And I'm just gonna, yeah, just one eight nose grind, right? One eight nose grind and swings it all the way around as well.
Yeah, and then writes down a fucking wall as well. Like that just wants to spit you out. And even if you make it out of the one eight nose grind, that drop at the end, if you're not fully prepared for that, that's gonna shoot you out as well. Yeah, I can imagine me and you up there looking down, just dropping in on the mate, you know, just like, nah, maybe not the day.
Yeah, we ain't got a camera. Yeah, we ain't got a camera. Oh, just that'd be my clip. Rolling off that.
That'd be a good, I'll take that clip, mate. I'd say, oh, yeah. I wouldn't just go on instead. I'd keep that one rolling off that.
No, that's for the acid drop conicales. Oh, yeah, exactly. Well, that is a legitimate acid drop as well, mate. So yeah, it will be, yeah.
Coming soon, so much radio presents the acid drop conicales. It will be a video just featuring, there might be an occasional kick-flip, but the money making tricks in it will be acid drops. Coming soon, we'll have to work on that. It'll probably be about, I mean, how long does it take us to fucking podcast out?
So a video might take us to something like that. In the next 10 years, we might do acid drop conicales one. And we will call it acid drop conicales one and never do a second. But yeah, we'll get out.
It's in Robin later. Well, should we wind up with that, mate? I think we've kind of, we've, you know, spoke about the enders. I thoroughly enjoyed that part.
Really, really enjoyed that part. Good to have a rating on this. Yeah. So for a full number, it's got to be a four.
Yeah, I'd go with four of you, definitely. And then point, I would four five at 4.5. Four five, that's solid, yeah. I'd probably go four, three, four, two, someone like that.
But I mean, you take that. That's a good rating. You take a three point, you take a three point, eight, mate. Three point eight solid.
Not many people are getting a five star rated video part. You know, you've got the Arto Sarri in the early 2000s to be getting a five star video part. You know, it's quite difficult. Have we given anyone a five star turbo rating?
I don't think anyone's got one. No, I don't think anyone's got one. Maybe, I mean, we are planning on doing some like little classic reviews. We want to bring, we want to bring, look at some videos from the past and kind of break them down, which we will do eventually when we get around to it.
But I'm sure we're going to find some video parts from back in the day, soundtrack, skater, trick selection, everything, ender, that there's going to be some fives declared. I'm almost positive. Yeah, I mean, yeah. We won't even go down that.
That's a little hook for the next time, you know, when we actually do that, we're not going to go down there. That's a hook in the business, that is. Yeah, so tune in next, we've got anything planned for the next issue, mate? Or we'll think on a fly when we're at the time.
Well, yeah, we'll decide on the night. Yeah, yeah, exactly. There you go. So yeah, tune in next time to the service.
What's great? See you.
