37 New Normal vs. New Reality

Send us Fan MailSummary:  The “new normal” that has become a way to describe the conditions under which we live to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus has, for some, become a “new reality”. Normality, however, is determined by the dominant culture in which we live. Even the way we see and experience reality can be conditioned by conditions around us. “Real” reality has been created by God, as an act of will, out of nothing. Even if the entire cosmos did not exist, God would exist. Christians are a new creation, we are given new life in Jesus Christ, we have been born again. We who were no people, are now God’s people in a living relationship with the living God, made possible at the Cross.
