37. The Realities of Designing for TV with Jean Ross

Interview with Jean Ross This episode is a special one because I was able to interview my dear friend and fellow designer, Jean Ross. We met back in my days of designing for TV, and I thought it would be wonderful to chat with Jean and have her share what the lifestyle is really like - since she's been doing it for over a decade. Jean has been working as an Interior Designer for over a decade and started her design career in the art department at Toronto's downtown club, Circa. She quickly learned about construction, prop styling, renovating, working with vendors, and the fast world of commercial design in the entertainment industry. This love of a fast-paced environment coupled with her interest in film lead her to design for TV shows such as: Colin and Justin's Home Heist, Take this House and Sell It, Home to Keep, Backyard Builds, Reno Set Go, Make it Right, Save my Reno, The Goods, The Property Brothers, Buying & Selling & Forever Home.
