It's one of those films that grabs you to the point that you sit down to watch a few minutes and before you know it you've watched the whole feature! I watched my advance copy twice. In case you've been living under a rock for the past 50 years, ZZ Top is a blues rock trio absolutely unprecedented in American music. One of the top 100-selling artists or bands with more than 50 million records sold. This documentary tells the story of the band and features great interviews with Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard. Luckily, I know one of the foremost ZZ Top aficionados: blues and rock vocalist/instrumentalist (as well as writer, humorist and storyteller) Chaz McDonald! Chaz dropped in on _The Paul Leslie Hour _and having both watched the documentary we discussed it.
