There is new comedy series coming to Canadian television screens: Our Big Punjabi Family. Shot in a mockumentary akin to Modern Family, Our Big Punjabi Family chronicles the trials and tribulations of a multi-generational family forced to live under one roof. Sunny is sweet natured, romantic, and a bit of a dreamer. He’s a programmer, but he’s got a dream to make an app to help humanity. However his designs are often flawed and his apps have often failed. Sunny loses his and Sitara’s savings and is forced to move his small family into his childhood home.  Female-driven, Our Big Punjabi Family is a modern cultural experience.
