375 - Perry Chafe

Perry Chafe is an author, television writer, producer, and songwriter. He co-created and was the showrunner of Republic of Doyle, which starred Allan Hawco and ran for six seasons. Additionally, he was a writer and producer on the Netflix/Discovery show Frontier starring Jason Momoa, and was an executive producer on the CBC limited series Caught. Currently, he is a writer and producer on the hit CBC comedy series Son Of A Critch, which is currently in production on its third season. Recently, Perry released his first novel Closer By The Sea. He talks about the differences between writing for television and writing books, his memories of working with Russell Crowe, Jason Momoa, and Malcolm McDowell, and what to expect on Son Of A Critch season 3.
