『わんわん物語』は ディズニー長編アニメ15番目の作品で、アメリカでは1955年6月に 日本では翌年の昭和31年（1956年）8月8日の公開されました。 当初は日本語発声版といわれていた吹き替え版。 昭和29年の「ダンボ」、昭和30年の「バンビ」に続く3番目の吹き替えによるアニメです。 裕福なアッパー・ミドルの家庭で育ったコッカー・スパニエルのレディと （シュナウザー系の）野良犬トランプの、生き方・境遇のまったく違う2匹の恋愛物語。 矢野さんの紹介してくださるトリビアもお楽しみに。
