38. Epidurals: A midwife prospective with Ashley Courtney

Her path to becoming a midwife has been long, interesting and full of adventure; during which she completed a BA in International Development and a MSc in Sustainable Development, while raft guiding down the Chilliwack river in the summers.Studying Midwifery at UBC brought her the honour of working with midwives and families all around BC. She was fortunate to have also joined UBC’s global placement, spending 6 weeks working with Midwives in Uganda, both on the labour and delivery floor and co-teaching emergency skills workshops.
