38. Ian Brodie - Free Speech and Political Compromise

Ian Brodie gets around.  Raised in Toronto, schooled at McGill and University of Calgary. Taught at University of Western Ontario.  Along the way, met a fellow Calgary transplant from Toronto, joined the Harper machine, helped set up the federal Conservative Party and the Harper government. Worked in international development in Washington, DC, for a while.  Now back at the University of Calgary, where he teaches Canadian politics.
