Residents of a Paris apartment complex are plagued by a sudden rash of strange and disturbing events: Mysterious phone calls, items missing from their homes and letters from people long since dead. Suspicion slowly turns to Amelie, a young woman raised in isolation and denied affection, who now seeks to manipulate and control the people she spies on from afar.
