39: Big Living on a Tiny Homestead With Jenny Boghun

from Grounded in Maine · host Amy Fagan

Jenny was the first person I asked to be a guest on the podcast over 2 years ago, and we've had life stuff that has just conflicted, so this moment, finally getting to sit down and talk homesteading and sustainability and record it for me was just everything. I met Jenny through a friend on Facebook and I just instantly loved her. I first went to her house to pick up a couple of gourd birdhouses from her, and her chickens at the time ran up to my car to greet me. The first time I actually met her, she showed me her beautiful place, with some furniture she had just thrifted and was fixing up - she's always got big projects under way - and we talked for a long time (she also has a NY accent that just makes you feel embraced). She is just full of smart tips to make life enjoyable. I'm going to have her back to go over the list of 23 Frugal Tips list, because she said she learned every one of them as a child! Jenny also has a tiny house on her property that was just featured on a Tiny House show, and is trying out renting it this year - learn about it, and her, when you listen!Jenny's Out of My Gourd Farm Instagram pageJenny's Tiny House Instagram page 23 Frugal Tips From The Great Depression linkSend me a message!Support the showLike this episode?
