39. Cortney Stewart: An epic Johnson City Facebook group that brings people together

On today’s episode of JCL, I’m talking with Cortney Stewart. By day, Cortney is a real estate agent with Evans & Evans, as well as a wife and mother. Earlier this year, Cortney started a Facebook page that I’m a little obsessed with called Moving to and Living in Johnson City. Cortney started the group as a way to introduce Johnson City to out-of-towners who might consider moving here (and to offer her services as a real estate agent) but the group has taken on a life of its own and now boasts more than 2,000 members. If you live in Johnson City, if you’re thinking about moving to Johnson City, or if you used to live here but want to keep tabs on how we’re doing, you’re going to want to be in Cortney’s group. It’s really well run and is a bright spot on social media.
