39 | How to Close Your Laptop When You Still Have Things to Do

from THE RESILIENT WORKING MUM, Stress Management, Time Management, Boundaries, Work Life Balance, Mom Guilt, Burnout, Resilience, Productivity · host Charlotte Haggie | Health & Wellbeing Coach, Speaker, Facilitator

At the end of the day, do you find it really hard to close your laptop and stop thinking about the to do list and all the things that you didn’t get done? Do you feel drawn back to it and find yourself working after hours or unable to be present with your family or even yourself?  The overstimulation of all that is required of us during the day can leave us exhausted and on top of this, we find ourselves distracted and with not enough time. This makes it hard to close down at the end of the day and shift our focus to the other roles in our lives.  I have experienced this myself and have many clients who have found this a challenge for them so today, we are talking about some of the reasons we find this so difficult and how you can change your relationship with your work, your laptop and your to do list so you can be present in the other areas of your life and the relationships that you have outside of your working life.
