In this episode, we visit BENU Community Home in Seattle, a transitional shelter for single adult males experiencing homelessness that was launched more than two years ago by United Way of King County grantee Africatown Community Land Trust. United Way proudly spotlights the BENU Community Home and its efforts to help men experiencing homelessness, particularly those of African descent, with resources that help them get back on their feet and then live productive lives once they leave BENU.We will also spotlight United Way’s Our Neighbor Fund and an upcoming volunteer opportunity.Thanks for tuning in!
