Her summers in Greenland have inspired academic research projects on topics such as globalization and indigenous identity, mass tourism and peripheral communities, and climate-induced human migration among Inuit populations. in 2022, Talor partnered  with filmmaker Ashlei Payne to produce a documentary film about the modern changes of hunting culture in northern Greenland based on more than five years of her academic research.
