39. The Beast (2023)

In this very special episode, Joe is joined again by Hanne Rømsing to talk about the recent collab between BFK and Bergen Offentlige Bibliotek (BOB) in which they screened Bernard Bonello's 2023 'The Beast' as part of a project on adaptation at BOB. They discussed the influence of film adaptation, the deeper meanings of the film, and the use of literature as a springboard for cinema. -------- The whole RSS feed is available here > https://rss.com/podcasts/thereelthing The Reel Thing on Social Media: Instagram > https://www.instagram.com/thereelthingpod --------- All music by Wise John. https://wisejohn.com/ Follow them on Instagram > https://www.instagram.com/wisejohnofficial/ --------- Bergen Filmklubb > https://bergenfilmklubb.no/
