#39 The Energy of the Player

The Player Vibe. This one can be tricky because it will present a lot of Masculine energy: he is in his body, present, and able to respond to the body language of the person in front of him and create the feeling of being seen (one of the core needs of the Feminine). He is highly charismatic and outgoing and is therefore very attractive to Feminine energy at many different levels of development because she will interpret him as emotionally available and then realize they are not aligned on what they want- which can be quite painful if you don’t trust yourself to hold that pain. The truth is, we aren’t here to shame the Player. What we want to highlight is the distinction that Wounded Masculine Player energy may feel like an Empowered Masculine man while they are socializing (you feel seen and drawn to him) but the energy flow wil often be playing on the wounds of the Feminine (i.e. to be picked and chosen). The flow of energy will often be more “about him” when you are engaging with a WM energy which will leave a woman feeling like she needs to earn more of his attention so she can continue the experience of being seen. This interaction will only develop into something healthy if you are aligned on what you both want (are you both in a light, playful, casual space? Or will you be wanting more than he does?). To see this with more clarity without closing her heart to all men, a woman needs to be able to hold herself and stay centered while attention comes to her. She will do this by understanding herself (see the parts of you that may want to be chosen and what scenarios trigger that wound) so she can set boundaries to keep herself calm and neutral even around “big” energies so she can stay available to the information she needs to gather. She can also begin trusting the instincts of people that care about her (as she’s learning to trust herself- most importantly), we find that men are often quick to pick up on this energy. The most powerful questions you need to discern a man’s energy: -What does empowered energy look/feel like in my body? -How do I feel around him? -How do I feel when I’m not around him?
