Erica Zendell is a full-time traveler, writer, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) practitioner. This past April, Erica left a comfortable life of 9 years in Boston on an indefinite road trip to train, compete, and learn from the best in BJJ across the United States. In July, she quit her career in the tech industry to fully dedicate herself to living a story worth writing about for her first book. Erica holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Princeton University and a MBA from MIT, but her hardest-earned "degree" to date is her Purple Belt in BJJ under John Clarke.
