Juan Mario Gomez is the CEO of Xact Metal. Xact Metal is a startup out of Penn State University developing a lower cost direct metal additive manufacturing system. As opposed to traditional direct metal systems that can cost upwards of a million dollars, the Xact platform is a fraction of that cost with the aim to lower both the financial and risk burden typically required to invest in these types of technologies. Prior to running Xact Metal, Juan Mario was at GE for 15 years.
