Sarah Jordan is a metallurgical engineer and materials scientist who is passionate about solving problems, process improvement, and process efficiency. She has worked in metal additive manufacturing (3D printing) since 2015. Sarah is currently focused on developing a new hybrid process called additive manufacturing evaporative casting (AMEC) at her company Skuld The goal is a toolingless process that gives large precision complex shapes, known properties, 100X faster speeds, and system that is 90% cheaper. They also have a couple other materials technologies we are working to commercialize including lightweighting and surface hardening.
