Troop Leader Experience: A Podcast about Girl Scouts for Troop Leaders and other Girl Scout Volunteers Sarah Heeter The first ever podcast of its kind: interviews with GS volunteers across the country & even the world, conversations with goal-getter girls, and panel discussions & debates about all the latest news & information regarding all things Girl Scouts. Through annual festival screenings at the Bytowne Cinema in November and activities throughout the year, we work to promote Canadian film as distinctive and vital to our country’s culture and the local economy.OCanFilmFest is a not-for-profit that is artist and volunteer-run, and is strongly committed to fostering diversity in its approach to programming. We strive to achieve this by encouraging film submissions from under-represented independent artists including those who identify as women, non-binary, Black, Indigenous, Persons of Colour (BIPoC), persons from the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and persons with disabilities. We recruit diverse members and voices to our Board of Directors and film selection juries. Lessons from Leaders Lynne Gilliland This podcast is dedicated to sharing leadership stories from the international nonprofit and other global sectors. We highlight the amazing leaders working to make a difference and learn from their stories. Each guest is hand selected by the host, Lynne Gilliland has worked with individuals, teams and organizations throughout Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. Previously, she was a senior manager with a larger US-based NGO, as well as Country Director for their Honduras program and Team Leader for West, Central and Southern Africa.She holds a graduate degree in International Agricultural Development from the University of California at Davis and is certified in tools such as MBTI, Emotional Intelligence, Strengths Deployment, Retreats that Work and various other 360 feedback assessments.
