Today, the President and Dept of Justice are finalizing a new federal rule on “ghost guns” which are untraceable, privately made weapons that don’t have serial numbers. The White House says there were approximately 20,000 suspected ghost guns reported to ATF as having been recovered by law enforcement in criminal investigations last year alone. We break down the new federal rule, when it take effects and the potential impact in our communities.
