4.2 Leviticus Summary: Chapters 11 through 21

from Vol. 1 The Christian History Podcast · host Not Theology. Just how world history intersects with Christian history.

In this episode, I summarize the second third or so of the book of Leviticus. Essentially, instructions God gives Moses and he then relays to the people concerning dietary restrictions, cleanliness, skin diseases, atonement, and how priests are to be better behaved than the populace. There are also more rules concerning behavior, including the Golden Rule, later quoted by Christ. Leviticus is traditionally considered one of the hardest books of the Bible to digest, and we’re working through it one bit at a time. After listening, let me know what you think.
