Without the vulgarities, Jack Johnson says, “Doc, you ought to be in bed. What you doin’ this for, anyway?” Doc simply replies, “Wyatt Earp is my friend,” to which Johnson says, “I got lots of friends.” Doc Holliday’s line is so good. He says, “I don’t.” Wouldn’t you like to have a friend like that? Someone who is there when you need them, no matter what? Then you ought to be a friend like that.
