4.4 Mobility Changes as Pedagogy

from Pursuing Questions

Welcome to Season 4, Episode 5. In this episode, I ponder how my experience support my sibling with mobility changes is incredibly pedagogy: from learning about human interactions with wheelchairs, to house designs, to my own emotional processing. This is my first attempt to share stories beyond education that highlight how everything is pedagogy. Please note: this episode discusses disability and references stories of death and suicide (not in detail) as part of exploring the disclosures and processing life experiences. Creating this episode allowed me to grapple with my own privilege, intersectionality, allyship, and my own position towards accessibility. Let me know what you think!
