Alan Mathesson was a former fire chief and medic here in the Southern Utah area. Alan was medically retired at the ripe old age of 30 due to the almost inconceivable stress put on his body and mind by his service. He's gone through some devastating experiences, fought off an opioid dependency (multiple times), and has battled with PTS (Post-traumatic Stress).
