#4 Back On Track: Lauren Price

from Anything but Footy · host Anything but Footy

Lauren Price is super talented! Not only is she the world's number one middleweight boxer, but reigning World, European and Commonwealth champion, having been European kickboxing champion and winning more than 50 caps for Wales in football too! After not fighting at all in 2020, it's confirmed she'll return to the ring to compete in London again at the Olympic Boxing qualifying event in the Copperbox in the Olympic Park from 22–26 April 2021, but is likely to be behind closed doors. It does mean though she's back on track for Tokyo 2020 and talks about how Anthony Joshua and Rio bronze medalist Joshua Buatsi are helping her and her GB Boxing team-mates prepare. This is Back On Track from Anything but Footy. The podcast series where we speak to Team GB and Para GB athletes preparing for Tokyo 2020 in 2021. Hosted on Acast.
