4. Christianity Over Culture: Disputes Between Believers

This weekend we continue in our series called CHRISTIANITY OVER CULTURE. In this series we are learning what the Bible says regarding the culture we are to be influenced by. Not the culture around us but by the culture Jesus is creating. Jesus calls us to live differently than the world around us. We are called to be different and this difference is for the better. This week we learn how we are to handle disagreements between believers. We are to handle disputes differently than the world does. We follow a different set of rules because we follow a different leader. The Bible actually tells us how we are to treat each other and this will affect our disagreements because it affects how we treat each other. God calls us to live differently than the world around us. We are honest with everyone so if we get into a dispute we are able to come to a solution quickly. We don't act out of arrogance and pride but out of humility and empathy. This make us more able to solve disputes than the world around us.
