4 Common Wellness Myths You Shouldn't Believe | Why there is No Prescription for Living & Being Well

from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent

4 Common Wellness Myths You Shouldn't Believe | Why there is No Prescription for Living & Being Well Wanting to live better and do better seems like a given. While the motivation can ebb and flow, most of us see the value in making the most out of the lives we lead. Oftentimes we think if we can model after people who seem happy with their lives, it increases our chances of finding happiness ourselves. In truth, there is no prescription for happiness. There is no one size fits all when it comes to living a life of meaning and fulfillment That's because we are each different. What any given person needs to ensure a high quality of life, is not going to translate across the board. For this reason, self-discovery is paramount. If you want to get a sense of what wellness looks like for you, go inwards, pay attention, focus on what feels good, and what IS good for you - regardless of what outside opinions or the majority rules has to say on the subject. Wellness is not a cookie cutter template from which we can copy and paste. To attain wellness in life, be prepared to put in the focus, the discipline, the motivation and the work to train yourself to live a life you know is best for you. Any questions?
