4. Dumbo
from Of Mice & Princesses Hosted by Anni
This time my friend Jasmin and I take a trip to the circus to discuss Dumbo, Disney's fourth feature-length film. And while doing so we discover the most useless super-power ever, say the word "cute" about a gazillion times and Jasmin tries to (not so) subtly promote Winnie the Pooh. Mostly we just have a lot of fun, but we also touch on the very serious topic of racism once again and in case you missed them last time, here are some recources for you to turn to if you want to help and educate yourself: https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/ - The most common and helpful place to turn to https://blog.govolunteer.com/8-tipps-wie-du-dich-gegen-rassismus-engagieren-kannst/ - A very helpful guide for our German listeners https://www.amadeu-antonio-stiftung.de/was-wir-gegen-rassismus-tun-koennen-58741/ - A great German foundation to support that not only strives to fight racism, but also has some other projects to battle e.g. gender inequality and support victims of hate crimes.
