It is a balancing act and with so much information and stimulation available it is an area that requires ongoing attention and focus. In a partnership, having a deep understanding and appreciation of each other's preferred communication styles can be the game changer and allow you to communicate effectively.   My favorite saying is: Say what you mean, mean what you say but don't say it mean.   Dynamic partnerships can set you ahead of the game and create massive gains if set up well.
