#4 Mental Health Awareness | Guest Speaker Tamara

from Sincerely Unique · host Bianca & Monique

Today we have a guest on our podcast -- Tamara!  She shares with us her experience with mental health. Our mental health is important + we must make sure that our cup is full before trying to fill someone else's. Tamara shares with us her struggles, what she does to cope with mental health, the things that she has overcame.  An important conversation to be had is when you know someone who is struggling mentally let them know that you are there for them. Don't pry to figure out what's wrong or how you can help them. When the person is ready to talk to you about what they're going through they will. We all struggle with negative thoughts, some more so than others and sometimes it can be difficult for that person to talk about their thoughts. Just reassure that you are there.  If you or someone you know is struggling and needs help here's the National Suicide Prevention Hotline: 800-273-8255.  Tamara's Instagram: @tamlunaaa__ Thank you for listening -- we appreciate you!
